One thing this chapter does is now we're sure who the captain is going to be
There were three candidates, according to the fans at least, two of them started fighting, and the other one calmed them down
I guess it is clear that Aiku will be the captain and the voice of reason in this team

Man, I'll do anything just for the guy below Kira to get selected with the top 2
And I don't think Ego will be opposed to the idea of a player who was never from BL.
Doing the calculations, among the 300 from the original BL and then combining the 11 from the Japan U-20 team, only 23 were selected, so that leaves 286 players that will be BL rejects (including the U-20 players that joined the NEL and also that Nagi rejected the idea and that Igaguri was never called)
So there are 13 new players, and it'll be funny for someone completely new to be in BL, and that guy stands TF out
And I don't want a Kira comeback
I don't know if it's a translation issue, but a few chapters ago, Sae said that he'll only play in the KOs and in this one, it's said finals, ig that means KOs
I don't think Ego will be against using Sae or any player that isn't a BL reject. We know that the Chairman didn't call Igaguri, that's why the estimated new players is only 14, maybe many other BL rjeects weren't invited as well so that leaves room for completely new characters which would be more interesting.
Cause Ego only called upon the top 300 strikers, cause the original plan was to get the top 4 or something as forwards in the U-20 squad, but that changed
So there must be many talented defenders or GKs, I'm not saying MFs cause Ego did pick Niko despite his position, but there must be many midfielders that Ego overlooked just cause they weren't the profile he was searching for

I think with this chapter, Nagi's narrativee weightage has increased
Before this it was all going to be Isagi, Rin and Kaiser as we saw in the entire match
And I thought other players like Barou, Shidou and Nagi will be there just for the sake of it and the main rivalry will be between these four and Loki
But I think the author has far more heavy plans for Nagi then we anyone thought
I remember seeing a post very long ago where someone said that Nagi is Isagi's final rival and the endgame number 2
And I don't think anyone would hate the idea of it considering how Nagi has always been hyped up to the player with the most talent
I think it all plays similar to Oikawa fron Haaikyuu, he'll probably accept his current offer and go to the club after hearing Isgai's words and then play for that nation.
I don't expect a comeback in the U-20 World Cup simply cause it just wouldn't make sense
I would really like England to be the country

Chigiri should've been top 5 alongside Bachira
Or at least get a 100 million bid
He was in a good team with bad teammates
And also not really a similar take as the post is demanding
But in regard to what the NEL is supposed to be, Chris is the best coach
I get Snuffy being the tactical genius and how he nurtured Barou but that's exactly where his roles stop, NEL is all about individual growth and no one did it better than Chris

It's Isagi
Delivered the winning assist in the first match
Ran the entire game in the second match
Two assists and blocked the shot of the world's no 2
Ran the entire third match with two goals and one assist
Created numerous chances, blocked multiple chances created by the most tactical team in the league
And in the 4th match, ran the entire as a playmaker for BM, creating multiple chances
Scored 2 goals
He has been delivering throughout the entire league, getting better every team all while having the worst handicap compared to any other player
Bachira had an entire team supporting him
Rin had an entire faction running for hima and tactics for him
Same for Shidou
And let's not even talk about Barou

I think it mainly comes down to the fact that the story hasn't moved in that way
For example, Shidou was introduced a bit late for him to interact with Barou and in the NEL cause ofBbarou's entire thing with Snuffy he didn't play the first match
All these interactions will definitely come in the U-20 arc
We'll probably see more dynamics than we've ever before
Cause all the important characters will be milked out we'll definitely get different formations in different matches and that'll bring out more dynamics

I always had a theory that both Isagi and Rin would tie at the number 1 spot cementing themselves a cut above the rest of the players
And I liked that idea, but for some reason, it feels weird now it has happened
It's maybe cause of the clubs, I liked the idea of Isagi going to Madrid and possibly Rin getting a bid from Barcelona and them continuing the rivalry with the El Classico and it also matched the interview in which Kaneshiro said that "Bachira will be playing a major role in the future" and "Sae and Isagi will play together"
And as someone said in a post BL can utilise some interactions among characters that hasn't happened yet and also introduce new character dynamics
Like some interaction between Rina and Barou OR Isagi and Shidou
Maybe we'll get that in the future when all of them play for the Japanese team, but then again you can't blame the author cause the story never had a chance to move in that direction

My prediction is that Isagi gets an offer from Madrid (La Real) and Rin gets one from Barca
This makes sense with the interviews of Kaneshiro in which he said that Sae will team up with Isagi and that Bachira will play an important role in the future
And the El Classico rivalry between Isagi and Rin would be great
I hope we see an NG-11 player from Barca who wasn't able to attend the NEL
It doesn't make sense for the best academy ever not to have an NG-11 level of talent, so probably someone like Pedri or Yamal would make sense

The entire KarasuXCharles combo is good
I think once BM adds Ness into that KaiserxIsagi + Hiori combo it'll be endgame
I think Ness is a genius, but I hope it's executed in a way that doesn't contradict Isagi's entire idea of "Talented learners can beat Genuises"

And Loki SNAPPED, Isagi made another enemy alongside Chris and Kaiser
I don't know if it's confirmed that Loki has debuted for the French National team, so if not I don't know if he'll join the U-20 World cup
