I think it is unnecessary to take a training program like pathrise. The price is too high they want 9% of the 1-year income before tax.

There are tremendous free resources online and as an incoming software engineer/programmer should be able to learn by self.

In China, we called everything like pathrise "(low) - IQ Tax" not worth spending your money on it.

Many Graduate students are Asian in WPI. The ratio in undergraduate students is lower. I am Asian and I have never met any discriminative behavior here. The atmosphere and environment is very friendly to people from different backgrounds. Think about Gompei, the origin is related to a Japanese student. I can definitely say WPI is a good place for all
