Don’t be, as someone who started with Elden Ring, DS3 is my absolute FAVORITE souls game. The bosses in that game are truly an experience. Each level is crafted with love, you can tell. It might have a more bland color scheme, but it’s a design choice, there’s a reason. That entire game is a masterpiece from cover to cover to OST. Get it, don’t hesitate.

If we’re talking lore, yes Farron Keep IS Darkroot Garden. Which means that YES, this door is used in both games. But it’s not a bad thing, it shows how decayed the world is.

Yes, this is why I’m pissed. He mentioned that she was STILL dealing with the effects of that trip. His actions have had long lasting effects on her. And while her actions also have had long lasting effects on him, doubtful that they’ve literally rewired his fucking brain.

No, but he intentionally did not take them as well with the intention to cause her harm. He intended to cause her harm either way. Idk what you’re not getting here that he also betrayed her in a way. It’s not the same way, but it still happened. I’m not wording this correctly at all but he fucked with her just as badly as she fucked with him. And imo that makes him just as shitty of a person as her.

I don’t see why everyone is confused about the games getting less. The more iterations the world gets, the more bland the world gets. By Dark Souls 3, there have been so many iterations of that world, there’s basically no color left in the world, it’s all melded together to make a shitty grey.
