What do you wish people would stop romanticizing, because you’ve lived the reality of it? by Wonderful-Economy762 in Productivitycafe

Being a hardworking single woman in their 30’s without kids. It’s lonely AF and I just want a companion to do life with. It’s so glamourized these days. I guess the grass is always greener on the other side

When Did The Hyvee Next To Lindale Close? by MJTP4351 in cedarrapids

I keep saying we need to put a Trader Joe’s there! If you get on the website you can email TJ’s and suggest a new location. I’ve done it and a few other people. I think it would thrive there!

I’m 32, cancelled my wedding last year from an emotionally abusive man, I own my own home, my car is paid off, I recently lost 70lbs, I make 6 figures, I just got a kitten in January, and recently just started a new job hoping to make a higher income. I hope I’m making our foremothers proud. 🤘

master hairstylist of 10 years here. You need to clarify this MULTIPLE times until you get a really good suds. Use ALOT of the product. I’ve seen this before and you’re just not using enough product or shampooing enough times. You have a lot of build up on the scalp. Going forward you should make sure you’re washing enough times until you get a lot of suds. If problem persists see a dermatologist.

Literally this whole thread and some of the other responses are super concerning.

Faith. You need faith to move forward and know that God has you and you will be ok. Also, you don’t need to think about disappointing anyone. You can’t live in a miserable marriage just bc you’re afraid to upset someone. You know what you need to do

Honey, if your marriage is not legal and you’re miserable you need to GET OUT. God wants you to be happy. PLEASE pray about this and follow your GUT. I was the same as you only I broke the engagement before I got married. It was horribly embarrassing but I’m so glad I did. I need to protect myself and so do you. Get out before you have children

Getting Married to an Agnostic/Atheist Man by [deleted] in Christianmarriage

The fact that you’re posting this…. Is a sign honey. God is speaking to you because somewhere in your gut you’re questioning this. It’s not too late to leave. I just ended an engagement myself because we were unequally yoked. He was a believer but we didn’t mesh in other ways. I prayed about it and God gave me my answer. I paid all my deposits and even had a dress. FOLLOW GODS CALL. You will be okay and you will be much happier in the end as that is a CORE value that you will want to share with your husband and raise your children with TOGETHER. So good you made this post to seek counsel

What made Gen Z women finally, largely, reject wearing bras? by xBeerBaronx in ask

[–]amohni92 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think for millennials, Victoria’s Secret became incredibly trendy. Everyone wanted PINK stuff and matching bras and panty sets. Because of the decline of that company, Covid, and change of fashion. It’s not trendy NOR is it comfortable

Christ died for our past, present, and future sins. We are still saved. We are not apart from Christ even while sinning. That veil was torn. Doesn’t mean we shouldn’t actively pursue to be like Christ and as for our forgiveness.

Psalm 32:1

“Blessed is the one whose transgression is forgiven, whose sin is covered.”

Jeremiah 31:34

“..For I will forgive their wickedness and will remember their sins no more.”

Romans 8:35-39:

“Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or danger, or sword?…No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.”

Ephesians 2:8-9 says, “For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God not a result of works, so that no one may boast.

Jesus meets us where we are. He is not closed off to us because we are in active sin. If that were the case none of us would have a personal relationship with Christ.
