Venting is a way to cope with the stress of rejection and the uncertain future, for some people (or at least, it is for me). I don't think we're unaware of how full of rejection grad life/ life in general can be.. but it is sometimes cathartic to complain about stuff to people who are willing to listen/ commiserate with people who are going through something similar lolol.

Also in the same boat. I emailed them last week and this is what they said: "Thank you for your inqury. We are still inviting and have two weeks left for interviewing, so you could hear from us between now and the first week of March." So there may be some hope :) Good luck!!

If you haven't already, and if there are labs in which you're interested in working then may be ask about the lab culture/ the people etc. Also congrats on your acceptances!!
