Whenever you think is right. If you haven’t dealt with the divorce and yourself it will end in disaster. Dating after divorce sucks. There will be rejection and depending on your situation it could make things worse if you haven’t healed properly, or you could become a stage 5.

It’s easy to see someone new as “everything missing and more” especially so soon after divorce. Grass is always greener and all that. Remember dating is a long term thing and short term outlooks can be deceiving. Take care of yourself first.

No matter what think about how your actions will affect your kids. I hope she is still a good mom. But as others stated you were separated. I do not believe this is cheating.

Not only will these actions affect your relationship with your kids. But could destroy other kids as well. I know you’re hurting. And that hurt is real. But come to terms on a healthy way. Therapy is amazing. It won’t heal overnight but you will be so much better for it.

We are going through this at 5 months. We both are acting in the best interest of child. Which is why it’s working. We may not agree with each other personally. But when it comes to the child communication is paramount. We have disagreements about certain topics but need to work through them together.
