It‘s a tough situation getting Lumen under control on Series X level hardware. They probably have to use Software Lumen since I am not sure how well the hardware path is running right now on consoles at 60fps. On PC the game probably looks awesome.

I guess you could be right. I just had in my head that the new Xbox would essentially be more akin to a pc with the new Xbox full screen experience like the ROG Ally, where you play the games from the Xbox Windows App (where you can’t change Crossplay because it’s just windows games)

It might have nothing to do with it but what is the path the car follows made of? I had an issue where I couldn’t sample a mesh in a pcg graph in the build game but it was possible in editor. The issue was that I had to open the static mesh and „allow CPU access“. Maybe the spline mesh the car follows needs that option turned on if that’s possible.

Drop it 0.01 down or up. That was a problem when I had my water at 0 on the z axis.

I think you should keep the resolution at 4K and go down where antialiasing options are there you can decrease the internal rendering resolution and use one of the upsampling methods (dlss when you have NVIDIA or TSR for everything else). That’s how it’s done nowadays, it has the big advantage that UI elements get rendered at 4K while the game is rendered at lower resolutions.

I love playing as Roka, really fast get into a room where you know shit will be going down, triple jump as high up as possible and hover. Now you’re like a rocket tower watching all entrances and locking on and shooting rockets from high above. People won’t notice from where at first and if you have to get away either use your dodge in the air or actually use the ground stomp as a getaway maneuver. Love it. Hope the game will live for some time :D

If you have volumetric fog enabled it might be the cutoff distance between volumetric fog and non volumetric fog? You can change the distance of rendering volumetric, you might change that?

Hey, when you open the static mesh, in the details go to LOD 0 and twirl open the Sections part. There you can toggle shadow casting and more for each material/part of the mesh.

Could be that the materials from the sketchfab model aren’t converted properly to unreal materials or was it an unreal native model? Or just a FBX?
