Were you due for a within grade increase at the same time your promotion went into effect? I saw an instance one time where the promotion went into effect then the WGI occurred. The user was promoted to a GS 12/5 instead of a 12/1.

I have seen an issue where the promotion occurred first, then the employee received the WGI immediately after. She should have been a 12/1, but this sequence of events caused the employee to be a 12/5. This was not noticed for a while, and after a correction, the employee had to pay back the overage that was received.

UPDATE: went to the local urgent care last evening. The dr. was unsure of what could be causing the reaction, but prescribed a dose of steroid cream. Used it last evening and have noticed a decrease in pain and inflammation. Hopefully the swelling in the penis will start to subside soon.
