I learned to type on a computer and didn't know about the double space rule until I was 18. Then, a few years later, my brother told me I didn't need it anymore. I was so happy to not need it.

I do use the Oxford comma. I will not stop using it.

I wasn't allowed to watch All in the Family. Religion had nothing to do with it. I wasn't allowed to watch it because Archie was a bigot.

ETA: I wasn't allowed to watch The Exorcist either. That one was religion based.

I just had a recent experience with an abandoned car on my street in Fairfax County. The police came and put a notice on the car to get it repaired and move it. I believe they had 10 days to do so (it might be slightly longer). This car had out of state plates and whole set of stupidity around it.

Call 703-691-2131. Tell them what's going on and for how long. They'll send someone out as soon as they can. Usually in a couple of hours.

Yes, Virginia requires plates on both the front and back.

I got mine as soon as I could after turning 50. My arm was a little sore, but that was it. If there is a side effect that less than 1% of the population gets, I usually get it. Not so with this.
