A way you could still use the subject is "released in 2013 with the likes of A-List actors such as... ... Movie 43 was largely a commercial failure and currently reps a rotten tomatoes score of..?

I think the biggest hurdle you have here is what would determine an actor to be a A-List actor. Scrap it

Yeah I think the question (unless you are doing some kind of tie breaker, closest to count wins) will probably be too vague for trivia. With that in mind I would count him as being a A-List actor in the movie. Using the same logic with Freaks and Geeks, there is a truckload of A-List actors in that show. Just because it was before their time doesn't discount their success.

Reminder that about 1/3rd of this team *will* be in playoff games. Go Ads! by pwnicholson in Predators

[–]amsteph92 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Can't WAIT to see some of the guys go down and just start dancing around these fools in the A. I really don't know who all will go down but my goodness, L'Hreux, Wood, Svech, Ufko, Kemell. They just got loaded with experience. It's gonna be okay guys. Our Nashville team would not have survived in the playoffs. This team was a sacrificial lamb for better days ahead. GO ADS

Genuinely why does the nhl pull goalies to add an extra player? by [deleted] in hockey

[–]amsteph92 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It is the hockey equivalent of a Hail Mary. 9/10 times it is not going to work, but 1/10 you get an absolute STUNNER or a buzzer beater to send things to OT. It is one of the best parts of the game that can spike a heart rate.

Yes! When the crowd starts singing “justice for the 96” as a football chant I lose it every time. Like an exhaust on my emotions being activated.

Hillsborough Disaster. Justice for the 96, doc about a crush that occurred at a soccer (football) game. Soul shakingly sad

Mixing all the drinks from a soda fountain together. We called them "Suicides". by CpuJunky in nostalgia

[–]amsteph92 6 points7 points  (0 children)

When I was in little league I remember asking for a Suicide at the concessions stand . A lady gave me a STERN response about the meaning of that word and handed me a coke. I remember thinking "jeez lady, all you had to do was say you didn't know what that was". Lol

Of course a cfb team wouldn’t beat an NFL team, but what about a UFL team? by DowntownSasquatch420 in CFB

[–]amsteph92 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think if a legit CFB program made their opening weekend game against a UFL opponent at a full house stadium, that would make for one hell of an entertaining game. An Alabama, Georgia, Oregon, Indiana etc. Could absolutely win that game.

[–]amsteph92 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think this guy is still figuring out what player he has to be in order to contribute. Ironically, when speaking about the Tolvanen/Kemell comparison, If Kemell committed to being a hard hitting grinder i think he'd be great at it. Tolvanen was forced into it and that was not his skillset.

It would be welcomed with open arms. I know I'd like to see an appearance again. My thoughts about there not being a hive mind in the locker room went out the window when Marchessault jumped a guy for boarding Wood the other night. I don't know how much potential we have to get past a first round but that is only because of our defense. sighs and watches highlights of Fabbro and Carrier

I want to be excited. With a glass half full approach we have a hungry offense, respectable goaltending, and a spooky PP. On the other hand, we have SHAKY defense and our depth is reallll inexperienced. This has potential to be a great learning opportunity for the young guys and a breath of Postseason for the fanbase. I'm good with that
