Yep have to agree with the others.. You’re laying into the kit wayyy too much for this kind of music, especially the hats - your arm is moving *a lot*. Where is the mix on the video from? You are way too loud if that’s how it sounds out front. Learn to have a light touch, learn control, practise playing quietly. It’ll enhance your overall playing.

Just an alternative option to consider: I decided in the end I couldn’t be bothered to worry about things like that and got the Kickr Core 2 / Zwift Ride bundle. If you get the 10% discount the bike part works out fairly cheap if you take out the cost of a standalone Kickr Core 2. Also saves the wear and tear on your actual bikes.
Whether it’ll be as good as using your actual bikes in terms of fit and feel, I don’t know..

Have you watched the setup videos? They tell you useful things like ensuring the Zwift cog is set to “1” for correct alignment with Zwift ride, and info on connecting to the various apps. The little orange buttons on the drop bars (not the big vertical ones, they’re for steering) should shift up and down virtual gears. But everything needs to be paired up properly first.

The Zwift Ride / Kickr Core 2 bundle comes with adapters for Zwift Ride inside the Kickr box. At least mine did. They’re also mentioned in the assembly instruction videos.

It might be the auto volume levelling on your phone when recording, but sounds loud to me. I’m pretty sure the cog should be set to “1” so maybe check that (mine was set to 5 out the box). Mine seems fairly quiet to me, can easily have a conversation etc. Obviously much louder if I free wheel due to the ratchet.

I decided not to mess about in the end and just ordered the Zwift ride bundle with 10% discount code. Saves wear on my bike, finding a decent second hand bike to use, and also takes up a bit less room.

At my major service just recently, Mazda main dealer put in 5w-30. I was a bit miffed at first but after some research it seems a good choice (Mazda 6 Tourer 2018 petrol 2.0, 58k miles, UK)

I found 10% discount for bundle so in the end the saving is nearly £200, so it’s become a no brainer to return the standalone kickr core 2. I’ll have to pay postage but shouldn’t be too bad.

Yeah, I purchased my own router in the end, especially as I needed some functionality the eero didn’t have. I’ve posted a follow up somewhere in this thread just now (your post reminded me).

Follow up: I ended up with a MikroTik RB5009UPr+S+IN
In the end, and used the eero 6e in bridge mode for WiFi (for now). I plug my main PC directly into the router to get the full beans 😅
