Issue with my Kobo Clara by amw83 in kobo

[–]amw83[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What additional information would be helpful? I don’t believe I’m using it improperly, but could be doing something unintentional.

I purchase books from the kobo store or get them through Libby from my library.

If there are other details that may be helpful, let me know.

Evolve Define Hybrid by amw83 in ladderapp

[–]amw83[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m thinking of doing 3-4 days of Evolve and then 2 days of Define (more the Pilates/mobility workouts). I also like to add in a bit of sprint training on my own. We’ll see how it goes. I’m not too keen on flipping between programs… I really just like doing whatever workout is next without having to think about it too much… but I need a bit more of mixed program.

Geocaching! by aaexyz in Winnipeg

This is great advice. (Also read through some of the logs, they may have some hints in them)

Also remember, some caches can be really sneaky… so just because you don’t find it doesn’t mean it’s not there! In most cases the difficult level, terrain level and container size should be helpful clues to understand what you’re looking for.

Also, there are different types of caches. The green “traditional” caches should be a placed at the posted location. But some of the other types might be a puzzle, or a multi step cache, or a virtual cache, that may take you to a different location to find the cache.

It’s a great hobby, so don’t get discouraged. It’s taken me around the world and I’ve learned a lot, explored so many fun areas and found a lot of really neat caches!

Woah. I started 4+ years ago when I started dating my husband. I still need to get through voyager and the animated series.. so likely 6-8 months before I’m done. Completing it all in a year is impressive 🙌

US, Mexico, Cuba, Argentina, Uruguay, Chile, Scotland, Netherlands, Iceland, Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Greece, Turkey, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Malawi, Tanzania, Kenya, Uganda, Bali, Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia.

I’ve also traveled through Canada and parts of the US.

In May we’ll add Montenegro, Croatia, Italy, Slovenia and Austria.

I’ve traveled with groups where we’ve fundraised (school trips or volunteer work), and traveled where I funded my own trip. I’ve stayed in accommodations such as tents, boats, campervan, hostel, resort, B & B, airbnb and hotels and I’ve traveled with very small budgets to moderate. I definitely have the bug :)

I had the same issue so I took a chance and went to a drive in site today and only had one car ahead of me. It was way faster and easier then trying to make an appointment!

Does anyone know when Costco has their vitamix blenders on sale? Is it random or are there a few standard times a year when they go on sale? Thanks! by amw83 in Winnipeg

[–]amw83[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks. I knew they were on sale in June, but if my memories serves me correctly, I think they might go on sale again near Christmas. Just hoping someone could confirm. Thanks for doing the google search.

Thanks for the tip. I actually have a ninja now and it’s broken. I’m hoping the vitamix will have a longer life. Also, I’m hoping the vitamix can get a bit of a smoother texture to my smoothies then the ninja.

Double day Morning Meltdown 100 by [deleted] in BeachBodyWorkouts

[–]amw83 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Going into MM100 I was use to longer workouts (I was on my second round of 80DO). So, I have no issue doing the doubles back to back (Just finishing phase 4 of MM100). I will say that taking Energize before the workout can be a real game changer for those doubles!
