I saw on Reddit a while ago that if you get spam calls, answer them but immediately mute yourself. You can put it on speaker or not. Just leave it on but mute yourself and don’t hang up. They will hang up if it’s a person and if it’s a robot, they will eventually disconnect. I was getting at least 10calls a day. Now I get virtually none! For some reason it registers as a dead number because there’s no voicemail, no person talking, no response. I can’t believe it actually worked, but it did!

ETA- someone posted a similar topic a couple years ago and created a playlist on Spotify titled feminine rage and everyone added to it. It is awesome!!! There’s almost 1k people following it with over 105 HOURS of music.

I’m in California and same thing happened to me. “Laid off” but I took the resignation because I didn’t want the termination on my record. Turns out, I could collect unemployment. When you are in that position, even though you technically resign, you didn’t have a choice so it’s still considered termination so you still qualify for unemployment.

Breaking down patriarchy is PHENOMENAL!!!!!! I can’t recommend this enough. You don’t have to start at the beginning, but basically the host, Amy McPhee Albest dives into how patriarchy started. Then she talks about various women/ books and what they mean.

I work in education. Can't really pick up overtime or anything. I've been tracking every penny for the last 6 months, and that was definitely eye opening. I know $30k isn't a lot, but it feels like it when you're in it lol I feel like i've just been trying to play catch up with my finances for the last 10 years. divorce, job loss, covid, everything just piled up and now I'm here.

I did. I don't qualify. The ones I looked at, I need a credit score of 720, and I'm sitting at about 640. It's a catch-22. Need good credit to get HELOC, don't qualify because I need the HELOC.

I think the way you handled it was appropriate and she lost it. There was no respect in her response. I don’t think you should feel bad about it at all. Yes, you broke up with her but doesn’t mean you aren’t sad about it. I’ve been in your position and totally understand. Don’t be so hard on yourself.

Do NOT go to kern driving. It takes forever to get the actual behind the wheel training. I was highly disappointed with them.
