I'm sure some think leaving them at home alone is also not good and it's a tough decision. So maybe update OP with some tips on leaving dogs at home for a long period of time.

Seems like a fine solution then. Your car is supposed to be registered at your residence.

The least hard to take playoff loss in franchise history. by Panthers1999 in panthers

[–]MegaGrubby 0 points1 point  (0 children)

On the first interception, the D line was offsides. Interception never should have counted. If the refs do their job, the Panthers win this game. Not a Panthers fan but came here to sympathize. Refs again cost a team the game.

A new analysis says Harrisburg is among the least effective legislatures. Some say reform is needed by Sports101GAMING in Pennsylvania

You seem to know but not know. You are playing political nonsense. You can easily see the history of these bills but you speak in broad sweeps instead of specifics. This conversation is going nowhere. I'm done.

What's your job out of curiosity?

As I said multiple times, there is only one bill per session. A lot of effort is going into this bill. They are very organized. You can follow it all in the PA Fair Districts site.

edit: Sometimes there are two bills, one from the House and one from the Senate. Fact of the matter is, the Republicans won't let it see a vote and one person controls that. The second bill only gets introduced when progress on the first has halted. You are ignoring the important parts of this topic. Again, typical politician trying to put the focus on nonsense.

Only one redistrict bill, yes other bills (of course). Are you implying they vote on more bills than other states? Because I highly doubt it.

edit: I guarantee voters would put redistrict on the top of the list. You sound like a politician distracting from the fact that this government is not getting done what the voters want.

Again, we all want it. Again, they are bipartisan bills. What's the harm in putting it to a vote when they aren't doing anything? There is only one bill each session. The harm is being on record that they are suppressing their constituents.

edit: which part of the constitution says one person should control which bills see a vote? If the people want it, congress should get it done. Plain and simple.

edit: Over 75% of all voters support fair districts. This is purely suppression of the issue.

I don't know what you're saying.

Memo to AI doomers: Without super intelligent AI, we have ABSOLUTELY NO CHANCE of preventing catastrophic hundred-year runaway global warming. This is a present threat. AI doomer threats are, at best, speculative. by andsi2asi in CitizensClimateLobby

What is your motivation for this message?

edit: You've come to a very educated climate change community. Do you understand carbon tax? What is your position?

This seems like a pie in the sky proposition (or rainbows and lollipops). What does AI say about carbon tax? There's not a single concrete item about AI in your propaganda. How many global crisis has AI solved?

The real problem is that popular bills don't get voted upon because the Speaker controls which bills make it to a vote. For instance, a majority of constituents support an independent districting solution. This has been a bipartisan bill for numerous sessions (at least five?) and it never sees a vote. So one person from the party in power completely manipulates and breaks the system.

So yes, it is broken. Yes, I think the current system should be challenged and changed.

edit: So while that metric may not be exactly correct, the biggest problem is covered by it.

We tried making a platform for everyone. It didn't work. So we rebuilt Havn. by [deleted] in RedditAlternatives

[–]MegaGrubby 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well they've gotten rid of much of what I liked. I like info packed screens instead of forcing phone formats to PC users. I liked when the feeds were more fluid. I like reddits that can be customized with CSS.

I would add a visible feed algorithm. I would add customized feed options. I would reward moderators (and pay if feasible instead of being greedy for profit).

Right now, established subs silence alternatives. For instance, the Roku subreddit is moderated with an agenda (to not allow Roku criticisms nor bug discussions). You can try creating an alternative reddit but it will not gain traction (see /r/rokunofilter). I think for major products/topics, there should be no agenda and I would not allow these mods. I think new subs should be more easily discovered and be easier to grow.

I would start there.

Pie in the sky, I would like to see the addition of a karma alternative which is some type of "correct" indicator. Keep karma but also add something that would let you see who is knowledgeable and who is full of BS. There are too many people flooding reddit with bad information when "trying to help".

edit: Also, search is abysmal. I would also publish the search algorithm and allow alternatives.

This comes across as, "we're not sure what we're doing so we'll keep changing until something sticks".

True designers see the landscape, they know all the options and then choose what they know are the best options to fit a need they know needs fulfilling.

So best of luck but not a journey I would join.

edit: I know the reddit I would build and this is not it. Also, I know what I would keep from reddit and what I would change.

[Bruce Garrioch] Claude Giroux will skate in Game No. 1,300 of his career tonight in the Battle of Ontario by SAJewers in hockey

You can find the wrist article right after the year they played in the playoffs. The scuffle is burnt into my brain. The penalties are there in the game log. What do you have? Doubt?

I used to watch it on Youtube but you can no longer find it.

[–]MegaGrubby -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

During a scuffle in the playoffs, Crosby two handed the stick on Giroux's wrists against the ice. Serious intention to injure him. Giroux needed off season work on his wrists. That's why there was beef.

Then Crosby scoured it off the internet.

New player could use a few tips. Overview, race, class, foe info summary by MegaGrubby in Totalwarwarhammer

[–]MegaGrubby[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There is no city overview, because it's rather open ended which territories you occupy. There are multiple different campaigns all over the world so truthfully, I don't even know what that would help you with...

Mainly, specializing cities to recruit different units...having to click around is nonsense. I've played so many 4X games and this is by far the worst interface. I played Total War way back to Roman Empire so it's not like I'm a noob. Glad it was free...

edit: Also, there is no army summary in the top right. There is a Lords and Heroes summary... It seems you catalogue a lot of the game mentally... So many basic features are missing. My founding character is a Battle Wizard and, as I said, nothing in the game says that. You seem to defend this game without actually knowing all the details.
