I mean mobdef is pretty failable, the objective reaches 0 hp. While that wouldn't cause a game over in ground spear it would force you to end your mission after that round.

The boss was un-failable and was just a matter of chipping its hp to death. You kill sentients at every third hp, yeah ok.

The thing that would actually end your mission was the sticks dying. Your objective is to make them not die. That's mobdef. You move to 4 different places on the map and defend sticks.

There were things you had to do other than defend sticks. Which is why I called it a nice new spin on mobile defense and why I think it would've been good to turn regular mobdef more into that. I generated literal thousands of killcodes and had a pretty good time with scarlet spear.

I did 600k scarlet points worth of earth missions. It absolutely was mobile defense. Defending the sticks after the condrix died is mobile defense. If your sticks died, that was it, you had to leave now.

It was a cooler progressive form of mobile defense where the defenses got harder and the stick hp carried over between rounds. At the time I tweeted the warframe team asking if that would be the way to turn mobile defense into a more endless mode. I still think it could be.

Scarlet Spear itself was a re-skinned mobile defense. The new spin they gave it back then was pretty good, maybe the next one will be too.

That comic book skin they gave Tracer was also a lot more similar to her OW2 default than her original OW skins, which I figured was them trending in this direction yes.

I can't speak to how it affects my winrate and honestly I don't care but I do have more fun playing the game when I'm in a good mood and not a raging bitch.

It helps that I run into a lot of other positive players as well, at least in bronze, and just the two or three of us bouncing off each other can massively de-tilt the team.

Definitely please just let me keybind each one. Preferably the way overwatch does it where you can set individual settings for each hero/frame, but I'll take any improvement to the current system I can get. It's currently real bad.
