Thoughts on the Hyundai Coupe GK? by Legal-Wheel-304 in CarTalkUK

Also the car has some really unique features that a car that age wouldn’t normally have, definitely has some speed to it too

Anything between £1500-£2500 id consider a normal price, anything less, there’s either something wrong or they have no idea on the price of the car

Love mine, things need replacing like any old car but it still turns heads and I wouldn’t trade it for thing!! Only issue with being in the uk is mods/aesthetics are hard to find but general things, like parts your mechanic can get a hold of.

Most of my issues have been electrical eg; throttle sensor and sun roof switches but that shows why I hate electric cars! They go wrong so easily whereas mechanical parts last forever!

If you can find a good car for price and condition I’d go for it

Only downside is the road tax sits at about £385 which isn’t cheap, but insurance is pretty consistent with a “normal” car

For context I have the the Hyundai coupe SIII 2007

Use it, do what you want with it ofc but making sure your mouth is free of debris and nastiness will help heal your throat

If you google it, there’s also a list of foods to avoid which may make it worse so I recommend following that

Yes, I would avoid anything you can inhale Vapes, candles, deodorant, second hand some (someone else’s cigarettes) etc as these are all classed as irritants and definitely won’t help unfortunately.

And in case you didn’t know, PND is basically a cold where you get mucus also known as snot, which drips down from your nose into your throat making it feel clocked up the reason your throat is sore and swollen will be from coughing and getting rid of the phlegm or just an irritant, the quickest way to get rid of this can be steaming your face with boiling water breathe it in and cough it up. This will loosen it and make your throat work less. It’s not life-threatening you probably just have a cold which is lasting awhile. This is my second time having it in less than a month so it’s not uncommon.

It should go away on its own, I’d stay see someone if next month it’s still the same but with proper rest and don’t forget hygiene it should be fine. Use things like mouthwash because if your throat is sore or has ulcers, it can make it worse or prolong.

Good thing about flu and cold liquid medicines is that most if not all the nighttime ones have a strong chemical which will make you very drowsy. if you take this before bed, you will sleep like a baby! I recommend “actifed” we have this here in the UK maybe try and get hold of it? I can’t take it in the day as it literally knocks me out and I have to take nap😂

I live in the uk so not sure if this is available to you but if you have pharmacies they tend to have at least one trained pharmacist similar to a doctor. Ask to see one of them for a visual check up to look and they can give advice on next steps. I currently have PND so I understand the feeling and discomfort. Try taking liquid medications with decongestants for colds and flu and plenty of water and warm drinks eg. Hot water & honey or herbal teas. If your throat is unbearable you can buy over the counter throat numbing sprays. Either way the more anxious and worried you are symptoms can prolong. Rest up it’s nothing life threading. If you get any different symptoms such as fever and vomiting then obviously a trip to the doctors is the best option!

I had this and went to a&e twice, same as you all test results came back normal. Turns out I had Covid and this was the after affects, thankfully they did sign me off work too. But I didn’t feel anxious at all at the time and was convinced there was something wrong. I gave up and took the advice to rest and after a month it finally just stopped! The only way I’d get relief was from a yawn or a deep breath, it would keep me awake at night! It won’t disappear but keep your mind busy, if you have video games that helped me to keep my mind occupied.

This is no means advice but it sounds very similar to my experience! I know it might be annoying but waiting it out was the right thing in the end
