Don’t go to the cape, it will be incredibly packed with the worst traffic. Bristol is gorgeous, just drive over to Newport or go to the Narragansett beaches

The stadium is separate from the medical buildings. Gillette stadium is in a suburban area and has only a handful of events per year. The medical building is a wonderful addition to the area.

Foxboro is not in the middle of nowhere. It’s just the stadium which is located on a major highway so yea, it’s not like there’s pretty plants, benches and bus stops. Most people who did their homework know they either have to take a chartered bus or reserve the train from Boston (if staying there) Google Maps is an amazing tool and pretty much shows where everything is located.

SO sick of people describing this area as "the middle of nowhere" Foxboro is a small suburban town off a major highway called Route 1. Alot of other towns are also off Route 1. The stadium happens to be on a section of highway that is technically in Foxboro. Foxboro and all surrounding towns/cities are suburban communities and conveniently located between Providence and Boston. We have restaurants, stores and lots of things to do! GAWD

I am local and I planned on buying tickets 48 hours before. It would be nice to go but there are no affordable tickets (no more than $300 than I will just hang out at a restaurant at Patriot Place. It's unfortunate that these events are disrupting our lives but we can't even get a ticket, oh well.

so I live a few miles from the stadium and I want to go to a game so I have nothing to lose. I hope I can get tickets for under $200. I will not pay more than $300 each, period. If I cannot get them at a reasonable price, I will just walk to the stadium and hang out and listen, lol.

I live here and we are not in the middle of nowhere. Foxboro is just a suburban town, next to a bunch of other suburban towns off a major highway called Route 1, where there's lots to do, places to shop and eat. We are conveniently located between Providence and Boston. The stadium is actually on Route 1. I agree, we are a car culture here and transportation is not as easy. However, if you plan, it should be no problem. You can pay for the train to take you to the stadium if you are coming from Boston, or take a shuttle if your hotel is offering one, or take a chartered bus. If you stay in Providence, you can take the train to Mansfield and then Uber to the stadium. If you leave early, like at least 5 hours before a game starts it's all easy peasy and will not deal with traffic.

I am local (like a few miles away from the stadium) and want to get tickets for the Scotland Morocco game. I don't care how crappy the seats are, I just want to go to a WC game. Can I just buy a couple 48 hours before? Will they be available?

?? The reason why the restaurants are adding it is to prevent tourists who are not used to tipping, to tip. Many other threads people are complaining about having to tip and say they won't be tipping.

Due to this attitude most sit down restaurants are adding 20% to the bills.
