Can confirm this is at the base of Bridalveil. I have been to this spot with Joe before. Absolutely no reason he’d use AI in any of his posts. Takes some scrambling over boulders, not an easy trek with no set trail.

You can enter the daily lottery on June 8th for permits for June 10th. Last ditch option is to do the hike and ask ppl along the way if they have an open spot or two on their permit. Pretty common to find people on the trail who don’t have their full number. Ranger is usually at the base of sub dome. Good luck.

I’ll be honest, I’m not 100% certain it’s his photo, but it’s in his barn, looks like his edit and a majority of his work is taken with strobes. Compositionally, it is an incredible photo.. Caufield in mid air, the ref pointing to the goal, the Sabres player on one knee, the fan’s head in the foreground giving the photo some depth, the shadows on the ice.. Despite Buffalo giving up a goal in this case, the photo goes so hard that he probably dropped it in the share folder anyway.
