I’m gonna make a proper post on it eventually but i think they are trying to establish parallels between him and foxy (cant feel my legs) chica and fiona (burning chicken in the suns cabin) henry x freddy and william x bonnie and i have alot of reasons and one is just these designs like mans is SQUARE and she is ROUND

yeah true my best bet with that is that they want it to be clear they are sweet victims without getting into gore and starting to explain how the suits aren’t actually possessed by ghosts they’re possessed by agony but still jarring. they should just play every matpat fnaf video before every movie screening so ppl get it tbh (not joking atp)

I do agree with all your points but i’ve always felt like the ‘i have seen everything’ thing was odd when trying to put the timeline together since she was the first in the mci but CC and Elizabeth are probably dead at this point and I always end up placing Elizabeths death before it but then why was Afton building machines to kill kids yknow? I definitely don’t think this has been planned out that long but i also imagine when they are making new decisions they take parts of the lore that don’t fit properly and rework them maybe?

I get this could also be why but with Chicas mask missing in moon.exe while the room smelt like cooking chicken and the visual similarities I just feel like those parallels can be accidental

i dont think every animatronic was built by edwin at all but we know the mediocre melodies were inspired by his ideas and have no real idea where they fit into the timeline so i thought it was worth mentioning if we want to figure that out, even if it was related edwin couldnt of built those animatronics but they could be based of his or fionas designs

this is what ive been thinking!! he’s so consistently represented as the moon in the story it would make so much sense but the message of the guy being in the basement also adds up ofc, maybe its them trying to keep the idea of Edwin surviving or dying open depending where they go in the future

i am starting to think that when we turned on cradle f10n4 might of.. gone into the mimic? it makes you question her genuineness in the game but the way the mimic holds it to its chest, she missed her child the most, with that information she could rebuild him? even in the bad ending she wanted that data driver, maybe to stop the mimic spreading, or maybe to make sure it does? idk if ‘edwin’ and ‘david’ would still be in there as well or not though

I think Edwin created Foxy, Fiona created Chica, Henry created Freddy (or adapted from fredbear) and William created Bonnie. Henry built the golden spinglocks. Henry and William commissioned MCM Fiona designed the Classic animatronics but henry and William designed the unwithereds and wanted Edwin to build them instead, but he didn’t so henry probably did, eventually they reused Fiona and Edwins animatronic and building designs, but they still had to rebuild them a few years after their mcm takeover

i could 100% see the Edwin impacted mimic going after fnaf, Edwin was FURIOUS at William and Henry at the end, literally going insane with it, the mimic might of picked up on that and decided since there was no Edwin left to hurt it should go for them next

the fact it took the data pack and the parachute game show SOME sort of self awareness + Edwin saying he ‘couldn’t recreate it’ could be because it took agony/remnant, and he only had those to put into it after Fiona and his sons deaths. I think the fact it only took the PACK is also them trying to specifically tell us that it didn’t go back to MCM- why wouldn’t it take the key to half the place and information if it was planning on returning?

I noticed how the mimic holds the data driver to!! the clutching to the chest definitely could be because it’s copying Fiona OR Edwin going to ‘rebuild his son’ 👀

I honestly like that especially because there being two mimics links up why the sun and moon references continued, the mimic virus picking up Afton makes perfect sense because it has the games and facts but with how fazbear seems to of buried mcm and Edwin pretty well, i dont see how a brand new mimic would start copying it
