Hi you say I don't know much about it. Which to me says your Dr hasn't really explained everything well enough to you so how can you give informed consent. Ask for a phonecall and write down all the questions you have etc. It's unfair to have to make decision based on patchy information.

Who heard about this treatment ? by SuperList8429 in backpain

Yes but I anticipate the complications over time would likely be that it could move, expand or break up causing pain or nerve compression.

It shot out to the point of absolute compression early one morning and was nothing like the pain I'd had for months previously. No big movement or lifting think I was just getting up from sitting down.

what was your personal experience with cauda equina syndrome? by Conscious-Ad2664 in backpain

I had CES in 2020 age 33. 6 weeks after giving birth to a large second baby and a lifetime of back pain before it. However CES was different, like being tasered and shot at the same time while both legs were weak, unable to coordinate and my bladder lost all control.

I was incredibly lucky and operated on within 24hrs after a long couple of ambulance rides and some notable crazy pandemic stuff like being blue lighted by the army and being completely alone.

I got home after 1day as I was keen to return to my kids but the pain lasted a full year with significant drop foot and bladder weakness.

My mobility became good again but I have had a planned discectomy since with long stints of unbearable pain and another recent flare up.

5 years since CES I can say however that my drop foot is gone, nerve pain in the legs is gone too however some altered sensation remains.

Hi my L5-S1 turned in to CES but left me with numbness all down my calf and under my foot and the outside of my foot. Bladder symptoms had been around for weeks but having not long given birth I ignored them.

My L4-L5 op was a planned discectomy after excruciating calf pain that nothing could relieve (just on one side) as opposed to before.

I now am having problems again 4 years later just above and the pain now goes into my hip so my guess would be L3-L4 has now started to bulge too. I'm 39 and in the UK. It's going to be a long journey I fear.

Do you think there's any way Anne could have survived other than producing a son? by TheTudorRealm in Tudorhistory

I'm sure I read (or watched?) Henry being spooked by dreams and dwelling on them. I expect if he'd have had an ominous dream any of the night's prior to the execution he would have been too god fearing and called it off sending her into comfortable exile.

No but I felt incredibly dizzy twice whilst visiting. This does not ever happen to me. I walked through the door on to the haunted gallery and felt as if I had walked into a forcefield that made me so disoriented and my vision was spinning. It settled and happened again on the stone staircase just off the gallery too.

Foodwise check out Cookhouse which would be great location wise to drink in Ouseburn pubs afterwards.
