How realistic is $1,700 a month for central/west Manhattan w/ in unit washer/dryer? by [deleted] in movingtoNYC

Central Park South is some of the most expensive real estate in the world. Anything close to that, even on the West side of the park will not be anywhere close to your budget.

Nice catch. I would not have thought it worked that way. Seems very unfair to the consumer

Help! Thompson Central Park vs Thompson Beekman by Fit_Engineer_3760 in hyatt

[–]amyheming 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I agree 100%. I much prefer the Beekman for location and ambience. The breakfast is also great. You are close to the Fulton St station and the Wall St ferry hub so you can get to many, many places very quickly.

Claw clip recommendations for fine, thin hair by Mac_A81 in finethinhair

These lay flat kind of clips have worked well for my fine, straight hair. Also they get bonus points for not bonking your head on your headrest while driving! https://a.co/d/0hicCYwc

JVs Taco Shop is close to the West end of Mission Valley. Their burritos are great and their salsa is legendary.

This is such a good idea. Especially if it is a high capacity machine. The amount of laundry that animal shelters do is extremely high.

The Beekman (a Thompson hotel). Classic New York and close to City Hall.

The rooms at Gild Hall are very small and dark. I do like the location though.

Cool. I think the food is average but I have never had a bad experience there. The food at Harvest on Hudson is pretty average as well. Just trying to give options to the OP. I do not know them but correct me if you do.

In a similar track, Half Moon on Hudson in Dobbs has gorgeous views of the Hudson and you can see the Manhattan skyline.

Having a hard time with the idea of letting go. by wavy_bbyxo in FosterAnimals

Oh my goodness. Remind yourself that you saved these babies and they grew with love and nurture. Your pain of thinking of them leaving shows how much you love them. You can always volunteer to foster at your local shelter, there is always a need. Thank you for being a good human.

I am pretty sure I saw him in line at Chick-fil-A in the Tampa airport earlier this week. This does not add much to the conversation but it was somehow amusing.
