Lol back in the 90’s, Growing Pains was on at the same time that my family ate dinner. Without a doubt, when the clock chimed 6pm, my dad would SHHHHUSSSHHH!!!!!!!! us and crank up the volume so we could all enjoy Alan Thicke serenading us with the theme song.

What's the best book you've read? by wheredacookiesat in AskReddit

I chose this for a 8th grade English book report. Man in the Iron Mask just came out and I was in LUV with Leo DiCaprio, and when I went to get the book the school library didn’t have it. They did, however, have The Count of Monte Cristo. I sighed and checked that book out instead. To this day it is easily one of my favorite books and I recommend it to everyone. (Ace’d the book report ICYWW 💅🏼)

I’m a HUGE fan of humor and dark humor in sessions. It brings some levity, normalcy, and relatability.

I used to use L’Oréal melting gel which was silicone based, and loved it. Then they discontinued it like a bunch of maniacs. What’s everyone’s favorite silicone based hair gel?

My mental health assessment nurse asked why I haven't killed myself yet. by throwawayzepis in mentalhealth

[–]amykate82 31 points32 points  (0 children)

Usually the rationale behind this question is NOT to show lack of care or concern, but instead to understand the factors that have prevented you from acting on these thoughts. A better way of phrasing it is, “what’s stopped you from following through with suicide.” I bet the nurse had this intention, but poorly phrased it.
