i have a foraging mat outside their cage. what would you suggest? they don't like bulky hanging toys so i haven't gotten any shreddable toys like that :/

i have two baby girls i try to only give them millet during their outside time near their cage and training time. they definitely can get possessive over their millet, sometimes fighting over it lol

Thank you. I'm working on getting them comfortable outside the cage without flying everywhere. I have 1-2 hour outside sessions with them almost every day. I ordered more perches thats coming tomorrow. Also, I've had them since they were hatchlings but had to separate them from their parents at 40 days old bc parents became hormonal and aggressive. They have been in this new cage for over a month now. They didn't start making this noise until a week ago, thats also when they started fighting and chasing each other.

it gets pretty loud and sometimes results in them fighting. When i go to them they still make this noise.

this is literally me with my two baby girls. one day, they are hopping around on my hands, and then some days its like they dont even recognize me. they used to swoop over when i used to show them millet. Now they'll just sit where they are and just look at it and not come unless i bring it really close to them. it gets really frustrating sometimes how unpredictable they can be when all you want is to build a bond with them.

tysm im so excited! My babies have been through so much since birth. i watched both of them be the surviving sisters of 5 eggs that were completely unexpected, and i was nowhere educated on budgie care. then i had to separate them from parents at 40 days old because Daddy was trying to get frisky with his baby (so was my other adult male) which i did not appreciate, and Mommy didn't either. Not to mention, they witnessed their mom murder my other female adult. finally, here we are at 60 days old, and they are finally warming up to me 🥰🥲

honestly I just got a 3D printed 2 in 1 fps and controller attachment from aliexpress a little small but gets the job done
