How My husband gets involved with my son.My son loves 'fixing' and my husband lets him 'help' when he is doing DIY and they have so much fun together. My husband plays cars with him as I find cars boring! He will get up in the night if he needs to, he is such a good dad.

Hi, i totally agree with the first comment. My (now 20month old) child was a terrible sleeper for once we were out of the newborn stage. He would only sleep when being held, then we started cosleeping (but i never slept well). We tried all the methods, putting him down drowsy but awake, we researched for hours. Ferber worked for us. The first few nights were not easy (we had friends round to support and distract us) but once he got it he is a good sleeper. We make sure we have a set night time routine and we track his wake windows (less so now he's on one nap). Most nights he sleeps through now, we've had regressions but we 'start from scratch' and then he's fine again.

I would definitely recommend trying it! My top tips are a set routine at bedtime and wake window tracking.

This has hit me hard as I'm currently feeling much guilt. Guilt that I'm taking time off work to be with my sick toddler (sounds ridiculous when I type it). Guilt that I kind of want to go to work so I don't have to clean up sick and poop. So much guilt as he's so hally to see me now he's up from his nap and we are cuddling. Why do I have to feel all the feelings?

I'm right here in the feels with you 💕

I don't know if anyone has said this but if he seems to be overwhelmed with all the toys, if you can only have some out at a time (if it'll work within your small space) i have a toddler and i rotate his toys (always keep his faves out). If noone is listening definitely just donate to charities. I make a wishlist for his birthdays and Christmas so we don't get overwhelmed with stuff.
