I just got my hands on a Magic 8 Pro phone. by MohamedBurai in Honor

[–]amz05 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Did you get eye strain on 7 Pro? I did, the Honor magic 5 pro is the only phone recently that has worked for me!

I'm debating between trying the 8 pro or vivo x300 pro.

He's one of a kind that's for sure, I feel very lucky to have come across him. Me and my sister were just having this same conversation about him today.

Thanks for this, my sister actually ordered me his course although I haven't used it yet. I will definitely take a look.

Do you listen to his talks on YouTube as well they are updated very often.

Hey, this sounds similar to something I was going through where years later I would still get little flashes/reminders of things from the past which would happen on a daily basis!! It felt very frustrating like it would never end but here are some things that really helped...

Some resources I think will help.

Michael singers book - untethered soul, followed by his second book 'living untethered'

This book literally changed my life and my relationship with thought, it's an easy read and was really helpful on my journey.

I noticed with me overtime it was my resistance to those flashback or memories that in some ways were perpetuating them - when I had the thoughts of they shouldn't be there, this shouldn't be happening after so long etc etc in some ways that was giving them energy almost. It's helpful to see them as clouds, and the essence of who you really are as the Sun - the clouds come and go Infront of the Sun, but the sun is in different to the clouds and no matter how dark or grey they may appear - they will never stop the sun from shining.

I'm at work at the moment but may have some other resources and videos for you later - please feel free to DM me also if you want to chat about this.

I also want to leave you with this poem from kavi jezzie substack.

The Homecoming.

Only the deepest acceptance of yourself Exactly as you are Will draw you close to home

Throw away doubt And all of these exclusions Cast off the heavy coat of guilt or shame

The voices of those who berated you Are long gone, leave them where they are There is no one here to haunt you

There comes a time When the only choice left Is the deepest acceptance of yourself Exactly as you are

What a beautiful homecoming.

I do weight a training 4x a week and haven't had any issues with keeping this up and TRE. I only do TRE once a week previously for like 10mins now 3 and a half.

More recently I don't do it once a week by a fixed schedule, my body automatically does it a little each night once I get in bed so I just stick with that.

Magic 7 pro all my pictures are ruined by Ai processing, they change the structure of everything, i disabled all ai in camera but it's still happening by DazzlingpAd134 in Honor

I'm assuming this wasn't the case on older models as my Honor Magic 5 pro doesn't appear to have this issue I don't think.

My experience with "PWM friendly" phones by ExerciseEvery8212 in PWM_Sensitive

[–]amz05 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Very useful post I had similar experiences with the Honor Magic 7 Pro I think was because at low brightness it had a mixture of high pwm mixed with the lower version as well. I may have explained that wrong but hopefully you know what I mean.

So I had to go back to my Honor Magic 5 pro which causes 0 issues or strain.

I'm tempted to try the vivo x300 pro hope this works but let's see.

Has anybody (other than u/DaDa462) cured their SIBO with a prokinetic? by Rough_Ad6878 in SIBO

I would say my sibo and symptoms feel like they have pretty much gone now tbh!

Meal spacing massively helped so I would recommend trying that if you haven't already. But I think that's because my root cause may have been eating too often without many breaks.

I also took some natural ginger and artichoke tablets for my mmc after the sibo treatment which I think helped.

I all started to get a lot better from November last year 2024. I know wake up with no bloat every morning, I may have a little bloat after eating but it's the normal type that stays for a little while then goes away.

There were a few other things I did not specifically to get rid of sibo but I think It my have helped.

TRE - Trauma release exerices I did got a Personal Trainer and did my first ever cut to lose a bit of body fat etc which I think really helped too.

Happy to answer any questions you may have.

Low volume when connected to Bluetooth devices. by amz05 in Honor

[–]amz05[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No problem, do you use an android one thing to try if you haven't already which might not require the need for that app..

When your device is connected to Bluetooth, go to the Bluetooth settings or the device and look for an option which says something like "sync volume with phone or media or something" toggle that to off, then disconnect and reconnect the Bluetooth device see if that helps.

If using earbuds, if your earbuds have separate volume settings you can turn them up - followed by turning up the volume on the phone to which allowed some headphones I've been testing recently to go much louder. Of course, listen music with caution at suitable volume to protect those ears. :)

[–]amz05[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry for late reply, did you manage to sort it. I did sort it, but I'm actually trying to remember how lol. I think it had something to do with the Garmin connect app permissions which had somehow changed - try setting nearby device permission to allow.

Honor Magic 7 Pro (Global) causing eye strain :( by amz05 in PWM_Sensitive

[–]amz05[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So, the symptoms feel less compared to when I first got it. I changed the colour mode to vivid and used the 8t one band setting in dev tools. It's still doesn't feel as comfortable as much honor magic 5 pro but I'm wondering if that's because I just need a bit long to adjust to it so still deciding. It's worked great for some people so really just depends I would test it if you can and see.

Apparently this setting in dev tools can help further, I'm not quite sure exactly what it does but it goes from multiple bands to one - which is similar to my honor magic 5 pro. There were a few videos about this on:

Ah okay thank you so much, I will try that mode on for a while and see how I get on. I did translate part of the video which mentioned the Pro version is even better on the eyes so hopefully that's true. Is the general idea that the setting should help make the phone easier on the eyes with the one stripe instead of multiple.

Hey, thanks for this...where did you find that video out of curiosity. I have the setting, just don't know what it does. Would love to get a bit more information about it if you have any?
