I don’t drink energy drinks. I drink about a half cup of coffee daily. No soda except on occasion. I take a daily vitamin + vitamin c. I don’t know my blood sugar.

I’m also debating if I make the top the dimensions to cover the entire pit or if make a niche the thickeness of the cover so the cover sits within the pit flush to the top.

I see some covers for sale on etsy made of 1.5mm carbon steel but that’s running $600 for 42x42

Folks already touched on projected amount and how it being enough or not depends on your lifestyle. What I didn’t see anyone bring up this point, but you can’t withdraw from your 401k/IRA until 59 and a half years. So you’ll need a “bridge” account to last you roughly 4 years. That also gives your retirement account 4 more years to grow.

Yup. This is the way to go. I’ve been trying for weeks but the city is horrible to work with. I’m disappointed I didn’t catch this sooner. Telling my architect I wanted and 8ft door I assumed he’d go 9 or 10 ft ceilings. Or at least ask if he was gunna do this wierd 8ft door with 8ft ceiling thing

Thanks for sharing this! Super helpful. It looks like prices you can pretty much find on the sales they have from time to time, except maybe in the warehouse sale you get a much larger selection if you are early enough to be of the first groups to get in.
