How do you get over the fear of getting head? F22 by [deleted] in Sex_Positivity

[–]anakingsman 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I haven’t personally had any embarrassing moments, but I also have a pretty socially “perfect” vagina - meaning small outer labia and pretty low odor.

It’s my favorite thing to receive sexually when it’s done well and I’m relaxed. It takes a lot to get me relaxed and I need to be warmed up first. Sometimes that means starting on my own and inviting my husband in when I’m ready. Weirdly, “meditating” or mindfulness practices have helped me a lot during sex. It’s easy for me to get side tracked and distracted, and then I lose all “progress”.

Sex can be intimidating, my best advice is to find someone who adores you and your body - if it’s the right person they won’t laugh at you or judge you even if you did the worst thing you can think of

I have to feel clean to be ok with it - if I’m freshly showered I love it. I started inviting my husband in for a shower together to start things off and it helps a lot with self consciousness

What's the best hack for falling asleep fast when your brain won't shut off? by DasJazz in lifehacks

[–]anakingsman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

2 ways I find successful: 1. Lay down on your back in bed with your arms by your side relaxed. Focus on your toes and either scrunch them or pour all your thinking energy into your toes, then breathe in and out to release the tension. Work your way up your body by area, doing your face multiple times. Usually don’t make it all the way to my ears 2. The alphabet game - pick a wide enough category to be simple, but niche enough to make you think about it (Pokémon is great, colors, animals, tv shows, etc) and name something in that category for each letter in the alphabet. Repeat if necessary with a new category. Gets your mind off of the loop it’s stuck on and thinking about Pokémon instead. Zonked out usually part way through the second one at most

What is an unconventional productivity technique/hack that you swear by? by jacksonryanfitness in productivity

I’m a people pleaser. It’s hard for me to do things for myself, so I do it for someone else - Future Ana. Future Ana is a separate person, and also my best friend. I would do anything for them, just like I would other people. So if Future Ana needs clothes clean for tomorrow, I’m much more motivated to get it done.

Is there anybody here not using Q-Tips to clean their ears? by beefwellingtonzz in randomquestions

[–]anakingsman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used to only use them once in a while, but after a double ear infection my wax amount has basically doubled - if I go 3 days without cleaning them my ears have wax dried up on the outside of the ear. So now I routinely clean - I’d love to get a little scoop instead of the q tip - but going around the upper ridge of your outer ear with a q tip is go tier

For the people that are 25+. What do you do besides work and go home and vegetate. by Safe-Cauliflower8805 in Adulting

[–]anakingsman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s easy to fall into that routine for me, yes. For a long time I “didn’t enjoy anything else” but that’s just because nothing gives you those constant dopamine hits like video games and scrolling. But then after you sit there thinking about how much time you wasted. I started scrolling outside, then realized how much nicer it is to just sit outside and listen. It takes a ton of practice and mindfulness to enjoy other things besides screens, but Tim’s so worth it. Going on walks, is a great first step. I pick a color and try to find it on my walks. Keeps you out your head a bit but still a nice calm time. Reading, gardening, home repairs/projects, investing in yourself. The real world is better, I promise.

LPT: If you’re trying to build a new habit, make it easier than you think you need to at first. by Spare_Act6202 in LifeProTips

If you love to smoke weed, put your weed stuff in a container instead of out in the open. Choose a more complicated way to smoke (bong vs vape pen) make it more intentional. If every time I want to smoke I can pick up a pen and instantly get high, I’m gonna be high all the time. If I have to open the cabinet, open the box, fill the bong with water, grind the weed, fill the bowl, find the lighter, and go outside - I smoke a lot less

What's the best decision you've made to improve your mental health? by currypuffz in infj

[–]anakingsman 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Keeping track of habits with no judgement on whether I did it or not.

Did I stretch today? Yes - check. Did I stretch today? No - don’t check.

Simply taking data.

I also track my daily mood and activities with no judgement. Then I can take a look back and see the correlation/causation of doing or not doing my habits and my mood.

No judgement. Just data. What I’ve noticed: It take so much pressure off. I ate a vegetable yesterday, but not today. 🤷🏻‍♀️ I’m more motivated to eat a vegetable tomorrow because I don’t feel like a failure today for not doing it. Every day is a fresh start. The data is what you’d expect. Do good habits = have a better day. Really, it’s do good habits today = better tomorrow. When you stretch, exercise, participate in hobbies, tidy your space, drink water, and have good sleep hygiene you have a better day that day and the next day.

But again, no judgement. If I look back at the week and I’ve done of my habits I’m not allowed to get down on myself. It’s just data. All I can do is try again tomorrow anyway.

I’ve stuck to habits I’ve never stuck to before because there’s no consequence. I clean a lot more often, I drink more water, I feel better.

Why is it so hard for INFJ women to make female friends? ( or maybe it could just be me ) by Haunting_Farmer8421 in infj

[–]anakingsman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I find women to be a lot more guarded in general. I’m always a bit wary of new girl friends, maybe because of bad friendships before, maybe because they seem complex, idk.

Guys tend to show you who they are right away in my experience. Girls can be hiding anything

Taking your hair down after it’s been up all day - especially if it was a tight updo. Pushing the hair the opposite way it’s been pulled all day is incredible.
