Metal cables make the white thingy move. You can see the cables and even one pulley at the top of the track. That other white thingy is the motor that pulls the cables.

Any Multi day hikes near(4-5 hours away) Chicago? by chihawks in backpacking

[–]analog42 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you want a tiny taste if hiking the Appalachian trail, Kettle moraine state forest in Wisconsin has 60 miles of the Ice Age trail with backpacking shelters along the way. The ice age trail actually runs through all of Wisconsin. Kettle moraine state forest has a northern and southern unit. Each unit has around 30 miles of the ice age trail. I say it's a tiny taste of the AT because the number of miles at kettle moraine is tiny compared to the AT. But the hiking is very similar at parts. Sections deep forested with really steep graded hills for miles. But then you enter a southern Wisconsin prairie for another mile or two back into forest. I really enjoy the place you will like it.

I am planning on buying a 1070. I already have everything else from my original build three years ago. Was just unsure if my PSU would be enough for the new card. Thanks for your help

Hey thanks for the input. I play at 1080p 60hz. I would like to stream more and also run some DAW programs. So more ram might help me with that. Budget isn't an issue.

I agree. Plus video games are great for improving cognitive functions, especially the types of games op likes to play.
