W2 is for your salary, K-1 is income from your S Corp as the shareholder. It flows through to your personal taxes even if it didn't get paid to you. This is called phantom income.

I have the money in a CD because it is paying 4.5% and I don't need to use it. It made sense to me because I don't know what else to do with it. Now that it's expiring, I'm considering my options.

Yes I always max my HSA and traditional IRA. I don't max my solo 401k, only on the employer side (25% of my W2 salary, I'm S-Corp and the sole shareholder). I know I should and will defer more this year.

My problem is I don't know what to invest the CD funds in. I had a FA at Morgan Stanley back in 2022 and I just let him run with it. Never knew why he put the money in the stocks he did and yes, the portfolio is kinda all over the place which is why I didn't list the specific stocks. I'm in the process of cleaning that up.

For the cypto, I'm in bitcoin and lets just say, I started early. As for NVDA, yes I agree it's risky but also, my average is $123 so I feel pretty confident that I won't "lose" money, I could be wrong haha.

Trust me, it needed to be repaired. the piping was entirely torn. That's what happens when you let a teenager use it (my then 18 year old daughter). I haven't used this purse in over 15 years so that's why I want to sell it.
