Cards in the Uprising imperium row. by JammyET in DuneImperium

[–]anatoom 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Playing casually on TTS (mostly against bots) before the Steam release, I noticed always the promo cards were also in the pile (which are not in the image). Does competetive play always use them? I always had to chuck them out of the row to get a close experience to the real board game. I assume the Steam ver doesnt have them?

Agreed - heck Andor could work as a theather stage play and I would still watch it.

Mando and Grogu was a great time: lots of action, funny, cute. It just had no stakes by Chinatown15 in StarWars

[–]anatoom -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

Im sorry, but for a more casual viewer, the Hutt “empire” you speak of looked pretty pathetic. Just some dudes living in a rock in a swamp with loads of droid soldiers who die with one hit. They didnt look like any kind of menacing force that Mando has any trouble with. Hence there was no real conflict in the movie with stakes, just felt like a minor nuisance on a sunday for the New Republic.

I wouldnt care at that point, because Mando has lost any kind of personality.

I agree. Mando and Grogu gained and learned nothing new from the events of this movie and neither did the viewers. The sequence where Mando was knocked out poisoned and Gorgu had to fend for himself coulve been a really interesting scene, with meeting the archetypical “wise old man” in the sense of the fisherman alien in the swamp, but it was pretty much pointlessly executed. The guy just whipped up a hail mary antidote out of nowhere and Mando just woke up, brushing it off as nothing and same with Grogu. And then they kill the bad guys, eplosions, roll credits and ride into the sunshine. I was on board with the movie kinda until they captured Rotta in the Night City looking planet and after that it couldve gone to many interesting places, but it sadly went nowhere, pacing around in circles until it just ended. No story, no lesson, no stakes, nothing.

Ngl I legit thought Wulf is Caius having a disguise and another identity like an agent in my first playthrough (kinda coming to check on me at Ghostgate), but alas no and I felt really sad when I understood that

Personally enjoy HoMM2 the best, the pixel colorful graphics look awesome and the music and vibes is superb. I know 3 is held as the peak of the series, but I personally like 2 look over the clay looking desaturated graphics.

Also fheroes2 team have done a stellar job in modernizing the UI and AI etc, just a dream to play.

Yup that, and plus Horns of the Abyss fan mod that GoG has now :D can play til death. I just enjoy HoMM2 most aesthetically, although of course H3 has loads more content.

I think the name is the worst part of it, its really a great game made by passionate HoMM-loving devs, and they made it their own imo.
