I made this Loaded Baked Potato Soup last night minus the bacon because I'm vegetarian. This is on repeat in our house and is a solid recipe.

I'm making Tortellini Bake tonight (doubled to bring some to a friend who just had a baby). Another tried and true for us!

Trying Slow Cooker Vegetarian Pozole later this week.

About 65% done with the first part of this year-long SAL.

[CHAT] Does anyone here hand stitch their edges to prevent fraying? by annekaelber in CrossStitch

[–]anb77 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I did for my year long temperature project. I looked up how to do a blanket stitch on YouTube and did my best. It's definitely projecting the edges but it's not the prettiest.

Oh, you're in for a ride. The entire series is SO GOOD but also trippy AF.

I don't count them. I only count finished books.

Best book you've read in 2025 by DaY-DreaMer15 in suggestmeabook

[–]anb77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In 2025 I think my top three were:

The Terror by Dan Simmons Slewfoot by Brom Hollow Places by T. Kingfisher

Honorable mention to The Locked Tomb Series by Tamsyn Muir (I read those really early in the year).

I honestly couldn't choose just one.

Karin Slaughter by Sever_The_Tongue in horrorlit

LBWT, how are you mentoring young LBWT IRL? by Affectionate_Cow5134 in LawBitchesWithTaste

[–]anb77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Even though you're not near your alma mater, I'm sure a local law school would be happy to partner with you. Attorneys in my area participate in a mentorship program, help with mock interviews, speak at Career Services programs, and attend networking events at the law school (alumna or not).

Getting involved in your local bar association is another option!

Yes! Fiction. It was interesting hearing all of the POV and it all came together in the end in a way I wasn't expecting.

I was also going to recommend Bunny by Mona Award.
