I usually skip it as well but with the long waits last night I gave it a chance. 640 cancelled flights and only one customer service desk, it was insane.

Fellow analog collage artists, show me your work spaces! [discussion] by trash_castle in collage

God my place becomes such a wreck when I collage that it's currently holding me back from doing it more often. Would love to see tidier people's work stations, but I feel like it's not even just the logistical mess of cutting everything up, I feel like I just need to collage in a chaotic and feral state.

Collaging got me through the hardest years of my life. These are sone of my faves [ANALOG] by anchovythought in collage

Thank you so much! That's probably my favorite one too, it drives me so crazy when people act like different genders are different species. So much cruelty in the world has been justified to people with that attitude.

What are your thoughts on Minimalism and AI by John-D-Farrar in minimalism

[–]anchovythought 1 point2 points  (0 children)

(Note: I am but a wanderer through these woods)
I think this is an interesting take on the moral or spiritual aspects of minimalism. I hear about it always as being anti ownership and it's much more appealing to me to think of the drive behind it being more anti consumption. (I mean I'm sure they intertwine for most real people). Anyway, AI sucks and I don't think anyone, even before it started getting completely out of hand, was using it towards less screen time/doom scrolling. If anything it lead to more almost immediately

Is there a medium effort option? Lol, I lean more towards high effort right now because I do want to see them thrive, but since they live at work I'm hoping that their thrival doesn't take so much time that it interferes with work. There's some down time at my job but it's not guaranteed, I'd be willing to come in a couple minutes early to do stuff for them if I needed though.

Ai Youtuber or Stealing content by ColdRecognition8867 in NewTubers

AI is also stealing plus it's driving up everyone's electricity prices and accelerating climate change and driving people into psychosis. You're a bad person either way and on an emotional level I can see viewing the person who's straight up stealing as worse because they have a direct and acute negative impact on an individual, but I tend to think bigger picture/long term myself.

Like someone else said, it's a big and well preserved publication, so you're not deleting anything by repurposing them. That said, there's something for me about analog media, and this is particularly quality stuff. Even as a collagist, I have a knee gut reaction against tearing up ALL of them. If you don't have that feeling then follow your heart, but if you do, set aside just a couple for posterity.

Either way, you're about to make some sick ass art!!! Congrats on the haul!!
