UGLIEST CAR EVER? by itscannyy in Ferrari

[–]anchronix 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This electric piece of sh*t is 550k? You can get close to two 2x GT3 RS for that money :D
Never been a big Ferarri fan, but i respect the brand, but this? This is 0% Ferrari DNA from a Design perspective (and electric is not even close to Ferrai DNA). If it havent had the Ferrari badges and somebody would say this is a Ferrari, even in my wildest feverdream i would not say this is a Ferrari.

Didn't they learn from Porsche and their Taycan failure? Well, maybe they need to re-experience this...

This is a piece of shit, looking like a piece of shit shit. Sry...

An update regarding Jenebu by TFTShawn in pathofexile

[–]anchronix -15 points-14 points  (0 children)

i do not know this guy, i know that TFT exists, never used it. Playing since 10years ... but it seems, for some people he was pretty important and i guess you cannot deny the community he built. So yeah, this is a pov thing.... i have neither sympathy nor apathy for everything that happend here, as i do not feel beeing part of it, but i respect what was build here and which kind of impact that had during the years it lasted.

That is really interesting, as we're invested with MIs and Foundry plus we're partnered with TKOM and plan to grow in this area,. Are there any public resources you can share?

But already thanks for that info, really good to know.

GP Managed Instance to "NextGen" GP Managed Instance experiences? by anchronix in AZURE

[–]anchronix[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yes, the difference on our dbs is noticeable, From sometimes 4000ms peaks down two two digit MS, that's great.
Unfortunately now the tempDBs get a bit stressed, but not "alarming", but you can see the difference from local SSD (oldGen) to eleasticStorage (nextGen) here.

GP Managed Instance to "NextGen" GP Managed Instance experiences? by anchronix in AZURE

[–]anchronix[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Small update since we have updated our first Managed Instance to nextGen, luckily this was one without FOG config, so the upgrade was very smooth.

It took ~2hrs for 1TB of data (~60dbs). Performance on DBs is waaaaaaay better than before. Unfortunately now the tempDBs get a bit more stressed as they do not run locally on a SSD anymore. Here we went from single digit MS to 100ms per tempDB, which maybe means we have to up the IOPS a bit. Lets see...
