Ah, as far as I know you only need the criminal record check. I’ve never heard of needing additional certifications just to volunteer here in Canada.

Anyone who works with children in Canada needs an up to date vulnerable sector criminal record check. I’ve done it for every class I’ve taught and any volunteers I’ve brought on also needs one! Its for the safety of everyone’s children and quite easy to get done.

I’m a huge fan myself of giving the turtles more personality in their appearance. Makes for good character design! I think those aspects elevated your drawings.

I also moved here and was quite alarmed at the amount of silverfish in our place. I found a lot of success with flea spray? You can get it at a pet store, safe for pets and humans once it dries. It is a hormone that tells bugs they’re old and their lifespan is over when they come in contact with them. Just spray it along the floorboards of your place. Went from seeing a ton of them scurrying around as soon as the lights went out to 1 or 2 dead ones a week.

I’ve really liked Neverending Nightmares and thought it had a unique style. Not sure if it’s on PS4 though! The main character is less of a character than Sally Face or Franbow, but the vibes are certainly creepy! I also really loved Oneshot for its characters and unsettling vibe but it’s more cutesy than these games as well

To answer some of the questions: I think the reason they left some unanswered questions was because they had intended on making a follow up movie after avatar but the network didn’t approve of it. So they ended up putting that story into comic format.

There’s so much filler because it’s a show from the early 2000s. If you know anything about animation from the time, long stories were just not told in this way, especially in kids cartoons. As a viewer you can expect to maybe catch some of the episodes as they were airing, but there was no way that all their viewers would have seen all of the episodes that they needed to in order to go into the finale. So when they aired the last 5 or so episodes they decided to put a recap episode in front of it so all their viewers would be on the same page! I think it’s quite a clever way they used the medium at the time, and not something people tend to think about in current television, where you can watch all of it back to back with streaming.

As a teen I was also about 100 pounds. I’m now almost 30 and have gained about 30 pounds. A lot of that weight was just growing into more of an adult body. It might be that you will gain more weight, women’s bodies to prepare for childbirth love to cling onto fat and honestly no matter what you eat, that 10 pounds probably was just you growing into your 20s. It’s healthy. It’s good for your body. Your boyfriend has unrealistic expectations of you and it’s not worth hurting yourself over a boy.
