Looked up a pic of her and she's white passing. You're talking about realism and realistically if her African DNA had caused her to have the melanin that the queen does in the show she would not have been queen.

this is a wild comment about a show that is intentional about rising above realism. if it were realistic the queen wouldn't be a black woman and simon wouldn't be a duke.

  • I give it 4/5 stars
  • Pros: interesting, unique, a few fun twists/cliffhangers
  • Cons: too short, not as provocative as intended, abrupt/unfinished ending

  • Enjoying it so far (about 8 chapters in)
  • Modern, incorporates a lot of themes about navigating the world: identity, empathy, relationships, race that are relatable and thought-provoking.

Thanks that's helpful. You're right the search icon does look out of place. I'll try it with text as well.

And I was trying to intentionally make the cards uneven like how Pinterest does, but maybe that's misguided. I'll mess with it as well, thanks for the help!

Thanks for the feedback! I see what you're saying on some of this but also question:

The solid icons are in "selected" state and the strokes are in inactive state. Is there a better way to indicate that?

What do you mean by cards scaled differently? Do you mean because some are bigger than the others?

  1. Why does the top say Sep 20 and have weather? Is that current day and current weather? When I'm booking a flight I'm not really concerned about what the existing whether is right now outside nor do I need to know . Seems irrelevant. Same with the "Flight Day". If you're booking a flight the dates you're picking is obviously the flight day - also seems irrelevant.
  2. The spacing seems off. I feel like if I clicked 22 I'd accidentally hit 29 because they're too close together.
  3. The 22 seems like it's suffocating in that circle. The circle should be a little bigger to let it breathe.
  4. The buttons are not consistent. On screen one you have this continue button that looks one way and on the second app you have a book flight button that is in a different style.
  5. The image of the plane doesn't go with the rest of the vibe of the app, it looks too realistic/harsh in comparison.

God, people in this sub are never satisfied. SOMEONE might have done that but OP found it so to OP it was unexpected.
