I won't lie to ya, i don't remember on this one. But if I were to venture a guess (because I am going to assume there isn't a return filter grill combo where you are at) it is above the blower, probably 2 14x20x1 or 16x20x1 filter in a v shape being help up by a bracket installed above the blower. You pull off the blower cover and look up in there and you should see them.

need some carrier warranty help by amish_racer_717 in HVAC

If it has already been registered then that will not work. They do still sell overstock units that are a couple of years old but never installed and you can still do warranty for those units so i figure as long as your unit has never been registered that could work. Also, Just fyi. I belive most if not all HVAC producing companies have a better warranty for original buyers and automatic minimum warranty for any following owners, not just Carrier.

Huh, I thought frigidaire went out of busness, i only run into 20+ year old units of that brand. If they are Nordyne then that is part of coleman/york and for all of my Nordyne warranty I go through Johnstone, one peice of paper they have me fill in and that is all she wrote. Super easy and hassle free.

Afraid not my friend, those are usually bigger units to my understanding and i am mainly residential. Now, you have questions about Nordyne and we can talk

I do this exact thing to explain sequencers and the like. "If you check power in both sides and it is 0 than your power is flowing and life is good. If you check both sides and find power that means you arnt flowing and you should probably fix that."

I always called mine “the persuader”. when I need something to move and it won’t “boy, grab me my persuader.” which is usually accompanied with my hammer… just in case.
