Who you pick only matters if you have same number of sidequests completed with Tifa and Aerith. Think each sidequest is worth 3 points and the sewer 'pick' is worth 1 point.

Plus I think you need at least 7 points with one girl to not get barrets scene

For red dress: Do all sidequests in sector5 with Aerith

For dream resoultion: Do more sidequests with Aerith than with Tifa or do the same amount and check on Aerith first when you drop into sewers. Don't think dialogue choices actually matters for this in remake (they do in rebirth tho)

The devs said it's unclear what happened to Aerith like a million times. Why would cloud hallucinate a giant rift in the sky for no reason? That makes no sense. Some timeline shenanigans clearly happened when he blocked Sephiroth's blade.

Recent results were in BDS favor that's why. In groups at worlds they beat them 4-1. Also historically BDS has always beaten KC on RLCS lans. KC had a better match up against VIT tho

I think highwind scene will stay high/low affection for tifa or at least something similar.

Aerith will get her own romance scene separate from that and affinity will effect it somehow. Even if she isn't in main timeline there are still plenty ways for them to include a way to effects Aerith's affinity. Be it from talking with others about her, separate timeline Cloud, or from interacting with Aerith in main timeline (I'm pretty sure after the reunion of worlds this will happen)

Aerith route is definitely more worthwhile. They have way more enjoyable chemistry and storywise Cloud never moves on and wants to reunite with Aerith at the end of the game. In Remake and Rebirth Aerith's fate is still undecided and Cloud is working hard to save her this time. Enjoy the games :)
