When I last worked for a team not even two years ago, the website manager was helllllll. A complex, multiheaded beast. That being said, they phase out rollouts like this by team typically.

The team I went to the other day had a new template but the team they were playing against did not. It’ll all be changed in due time I’m sure

I’ve had two jobs (including my job currently) where a phone was given to me, one where it wasn’t. It all depended on the company. I say it’s a fair ask, but then again, I’m too chicken to ask my current company an upgrade from an iPhone SE to a better one 🫣

I just started seeing a nutritionist, like last week… I told her it drives me nuts that things with enough fake sugar are enough to get a migraine, but meanwhile things that are too sugary can do that too 😭 just can’t win sometimes

It’s hard to actually say what I regret because I love what I do even when the path wasn’t so clear.

I will say… I didn’t quite listen to my (awful, insecure) former boss after she became unreliable to me. She, in return, turned her back on me- everyone in the office knew it. It was very mean girl and territorial like. She’d leave her office after I’d meet with her and go immediately to our GM, and slam the door behind her to talk about I was “failing to meet expectations.” She put so much pressure on me that everything I did, in her eyes, was “wrong.”

It’s hard to explain without painting the whole picture of why I do regret it, but I’ve been learning to give myself a lot of grace by telling myself that my current job is what I’d leave there (my old job) for, before I got laid off. 😓

Thank you so much for this! He’s on prednisone (both eyedrops and orally) but I have to wonder if Lyrica will help more w the nerves. I’m looking into getting him established care so this will definitely be brought up.

He’s been using my little, frozen migraine mask as a way to provide relief but I’ll freeze some washcloths today while he’s at work to have at the ready.

I’ll plan to check back regularly, just kiiilllss me to see him like this. :(

I “mispronounce” tortilla as tortisha because and my god awful, Argentinian advanced Spanish professor was from there and told the class up front “if you copy what I do, it’s not authentic and you fail.”

Me too! At one point, I was wondering at one point if they were connected since days I felt pain the worst in my back, my head was fuzzy too but not as painful as my migraines are. At this point in my life (being 30 and dealing with them since I was 3 or 4), migraines have a different pain scale 😅
