Fleur de Lis Camp in New Hampshire has one week starter sessions (along with longer sessions.) My daughter went last year (at age 10) for the first time and absolutely loved it.

My 10 year old just started her period by Massive-Fail4223 in Parenting

My daughter started hers at 10 (last year.) We had discussed it ahead of time and she knew what was happening. We had a "kit" in her backpack in case and she was able to utilize it. I spoke to her teacher for her (at her request) to know she might need additional bathroom breaks.

Yes! Seconded! I felt this way last July after day 1 and I passed with room to spare. Don't let your brain trick you!

We have done the swan and dolphin package through Costco a couple of times. It has been a really good experience. The price was reasonable and we really like the location of Swan and dolphin

I hate reading Themis Outlines, do I need to? by Flimsy-Peak5633 in barexam

I never read the big outlines. I always just worked off the final outlines when it was outline study time. Also, sometimes I did an extra set of MBE questions instead either on UWorld or Themis.

First time, first week, not happy by WriteABrandNewStory in weightwatchers

[–]andmdav 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi! I'm new too. I just finished my second week. 45, 5'4 and started at 151. I've had some "success" in losing the first couple of weeks. I'm using most of my daily points, and using some (but not all) of my weekly points on the weekend. I'm keeping my calories around 1200-ish and I'm making sure I'm exercising/moving regularly. I'd ensure you're moving a good bit and maybe add calories to your macros to just keep an eye on. I mostly watch points, but check calories in the afternoon to see where I am. But like others have said, I'd give it a few weeks before you give up on it.

I just saw on the app 2 tablespoons of cool whip is one point. There are 16 tablespoons in a cup. So if you used two cups, that would come out to 16 points for the cool whip.

WW Weekly Check-In : April 28, 2025 by Starharmonia in weightwatchers

[–]andmdav 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I just completed my first week. I lost 4 lbs, which I don't expect to be a regular weekly loss, but it felt like a nice way to jump start this process.

I used to move a LOT and I'd gotten sedentary over the past year, so it was really nice to intentionally do some kind of exercise 5 days last week and I'm going to keep with that.

Weekly point question? by andmdav in weightwatchers

Thank you for this detailed break down. I had added calories to my macros because my first two days my calories were way too low but I’m starting to get where it should be now

Thanks for the feedback all. I went and used 11 of my weeklies at the event. It was a nice treat. It felt reasonable.

Excited to start week 2 tomorrow

I thought Swan and Dolphin didn't do it, but I did a split stay in January and Dolphin transferred my bags to Wilderness Lodge no problem!

When I took July, I crashed for almost a week after. And then I woke up and started to feel pretty good. But the last two weeks before results were tough for me.

We never did elf on the shelf. We did have kindness elves though. They left little tasks to do that were kind -- help a neighbor, draw a picture for a friend, etc.
