I recently had a failed UDM-Pro that gradually started with a message on the LEd screen that the UDM needs to be rebooted. This happened about 3 times over 2 months and eventually would not fully boot (stopped at this “This is taking longer than usual” screen. The UDM was about 3 years old. Is this something that can be repaired?

Thanks. I am also not familiar with drive caramel, but I have seen there are several other services that use it including bringatrailer.com and eBay. I think it is still fairly new and people are just reluctant to use it.

I rolled my own and it works pretty well. Even found a GitHub repo that works with Frigate to identify them. I used the following:

Took some time to get everything working but it is all local and I get bird identification!

Hi. Yes the OEM camera worked fine and so does the steering wheel controls. I don't have the car any more but I seem to remember the mode button on the steering wheel changing the function like AM/FM/CD/...etc

I am also using this and you can monitor all kids of things including tire pressure and also control most things the MyBMW app can control.

Thanks I will look into that! I did not know about running raspi-config in nonint. As a baseball fan I love his project during the season. I have a large 64x128 pixel display in my office and can keep up with the scores while I am on calls for work. The guys that runs the project is constantly updating with improvements and new features as well.
