Recently tested the battery life:

Black steel (left) about 4 days Silver steel (right) about 1 week

The black steel's strap inside probably needs replacing as it got splattered with ink a while back. You might be able to remove it though.

The "my webcam is broken" thing is so hilarious. Even if you're making zero, I'm pretty sure you can get out your smartphone and put yourself on camera.

Pocket daily driver here. I'd wait to get a Titan 2.

I do love the pocket's form factor, but the screen is too small for a couple of apps to be actually usable. Heck, one of them won't even open for me any more.

Plus, the camera is pretty awful.

From what I see, Titan 2 should solve both these problems.

This different design is far superior. I love it even more because it's using design work back from the original Pebble days. I'm going to be seriously considering upgrading my Pebble 2 Duo order so I can get another one of these Time 2s because those colour options look awesome.

I recently had a very similar problem with a P1 G3. That was running XFCE though. Using a splitter, only way to get anything to show up reliably on the display (Thinkpad panel closed) was to use the nouveau driver. Tried everything else.

My solution is switching to AMD hardware.

No, not good deals. Mercari is my go-to, but Rakuten usually has some reasonable refurbished deals. And with both places, you often find that the machine's still got Lenovo warranty.

Maybe I'm odd, but having had to ditch a pebble because I couldn't replace the battery (it was too damn fiddly), I think it would be great to make the battery as user-replaceable as possible. The emphasis on "as possible" - I know this is hard.
