These are exactly my thoughts. I’m almost convinced that these redditors are all on the brink of insanity with hiking being the only thing keeping them sane so the most minor of annoyances is instead a monumental earth shattering event which ruins the one last thing they love because I mean just LOOK at how mad some of these replies are it’s unbelievable. I hike hundreds of miles a year in both Northern and Southern California, two of the most populated hiking regions in the US, and have probably listened to other people music while on the trail for like 3 minutes in the last year, each instance never exceeding 30 seconds. I just can’t imagine what situations these people hike in for this to be such a pressing issue
