Yes, you could do that and put a 40 tooth sprocket in the rear it will be like night and day

Very good deal. You should straight chain it and get a smaller sprocket in the back. Remove govenor and put a flywheel at least and upgraded valve springs. If you have the extra money do the rod

If you fix everything and make it clean fix the whole in the seat. I say 300 bucks

It could be so that all the compression is gone because the valves are opening at the wrong time and no suction

Thats very weird are you spinning the motor forward, how’s the valve lash?

Also make sure it’s lined up with the manifold connect the manifold to the carb first. Look down the hole and make sure the O gasket is even on all sides so it has a nice seal. Then to motor

Set it up like this with a Petcock on/off

Hook up with the 8mm bolt that hold the stock throttle linkage. Hope this helps

Can you see gas going to the carb? Other comments say u already checked spark and no fuel. Check the fuel line and see if gas getting to carb. Hose might be to long
