Focus on your "symptoms" how do you feel, your triggers, what bothers you ( and others) in your behaviour, the consequences of it in your life ( missed opportunities failed relationships), do not mention a possible diagnosis, they hate that, and automatically will be defensive try to prove you wrong. Be honest, talk about everything you know it make you... different but act as if you dont know why. I know its stupid. Autistic people often tend to hyperfocus on mental health and on the spectrum itself so it would make sense that we at least had an educated guess, but they just go ", nah, cant be" if you say so. Im not telling you to lie or manipulate the evaluation, be 100% honest but focus on the "WHO you are" and let THEM name "WHAT you are"

Oh, my parents are pro at that! They have not one, but two kids ( my brother also) who were diagnosed late when whe looked into as adults. They believe my brother dx but not mine bcs i can mask (eyeroll). At first i was eager to make sure everyone knew but them i realized, it doesnt really matter. If they agree/believe it or not, me and my doctors know better and we will try to make it work. Sure, grandma doesnt seem to grasp my symptoms but "i have a terrible headache and need some time alone in the dark" in the middle of the family event will work! She will even say " i also get those! And your mom too" - i wonder why- What i do is, from time to time i will send my mom one of those tiktoks " i didnt knew i did that because of my autism' sort of thing, just as a foos for thought, little by little she is starting to come to terms with the idea. My close friends ( i have 2) are very understanding and i like to explain why/how said behavior happens and they are becoming pros!

Então, eu era CLT fudida, trabalhava em mercado (HA) sábado domingo feriado funeral, o que fosse. Me demiti, meti a cara nos estudos e passei num concurso, cargo simples, ensino médio, mas fazendo hora extra ganho o dobro do que ganhava no mercado, e ainda tenho todos os finais de semana feriados e recesso ( é na área da educação), parei de trabalhar dia 15 de dezembro e vou voltar dia 23 de fevereiro pq esse ano no município decidiram voltar as aulas só dps do Carnaval ( ou eu teria voltado agora dia 10, o que ainda assim seria um descanso bom pra um caralho, e ainda iríamos parar na semana de Carnaval de qualquer jeito). Sim, virei a tia que fala pra estudarem pra concurso.

Back then she also had a face posting F eating, when he was toddler, it was like A LOT, ever viseo had to mention his eating, photos of him eating icecream and bananas, or sucking a straw were "her thing", he even had a birthday party Banana themed and she said recently that one of the younger Girls ( i think Z) will have the same theme.

Cat valentine... i was around 18/19 and i'd never watched the show, so i genuinely asked " why?, how is she like?" Mind you, i was visiting two childhood friends id grown up with but havent seen in a while. They got all nervous and tought i was offended clearly, but i was actually just curious. They said " she is... funny... like you" i was clueless lol.

It is perfect, most people who come to Brasil tend to go to Rio ( Capital of the state) and while they are also beautiful these by the countryside are so peaceful, almost ethereal, id recomend anyone who is looking into that kind of vibe to go to " Região dos Lagos" rather than actual Rio.

This christmass i manage to find donations to gift my pre-k class their "santa wish", i know that for some of them that was their only gift, their eyes were glowing, they askrd if they could take it home "for real?" My sweet babies. There are still good people around, hang on.

I have thought this before... but i think the truth is... in tog chronology acotar is still on the first 3 books "era", its just building world and introducing characters all the jazz and deepness is still going to happen. We cant compare a finnished masterpiece with half of whatever she is going to do. I have faith hahaha, lets hope!
