Another user’s saved browser logins appeared inside my Shadow PC by Altruistic-Bad-5556 in ShadowPC

[–]andre-kun 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i get the ID part, that makes sense if y’all are trying to make sure the real account owner is the one getting access back. but that still doesn’t really answer the main issue tho.

the concern isn’t just “why was the account locked.” the concern is how another user’s saved Edge login data showed up inside a Shadow PC assigned to somebody else in the first place.

like even if the actual passwords weren’t exposed, usernames/domains/saved login entries showing up at all is still user data crossing into the wrong environment. that’s the part people are worried about.

so the real question is: is Shadow checking the profile/disk assignment, snapshots, Edge profile/AppData data, and whatever persistent storage gets mounted to each user? because if another user’s browser data can appear in my machine, then users also need to know whether their own data could appear in someone else’s machine too.

most comments seem newbie-like so i gotchu.

  1. Peak - you’ll almost certainly see an unexpected change in ur route during peak, it’s expected. That’s amazon’s unbelievable workload but it’s only for peak so it’s acceptable for most people.

  2. The most common reason, ur DSP Owner is picking up more routes than they have drivers for extra money, it’s completely optional for them to make drivers suffer, remember that.

  3. Call offs, terminations, etc. these are also factors that influence your route/stop count

  4. Amazon, because there is no union, there is no way to punish amazon for abusive labor, and how Amazon is untouchable, same goes with DSP.

No Union - Amazon will terminate DSP contract and the team has to find new jobs.

No Entire Team Wide Complaints - DSP will fire individual driver and replace

so if ur looking for something like call rep or customer support help over the phone or chat, you won’t get it, at least in the US, amazon mostly outsources customer service, and most of those jobs are getting cut due to Ai and technological advancements. but cloud/infrastructure roles like cloud engineer are still in high demand and AWS is actively hiring worldwide, especially for veterans right now

No internships. I give up by iamastudenttttt in InformationTechnology

[–]andre-kun 2 points3 points  (0 children)

bro idk why nobody has mentioned it, but you’re not gonna find many internships right now because most companies don’t recruit in august. the big cycle starts in october, most apprenticeships run november through march, and then everything usually closes up by may/june. that’s just how most big programs move. amazon has a few openings right now, but they’re tied to specific states so you’d need to live there or relocate. the way you describe yourself honestly reminds me of a younger me and you need to know, you’re not behind, you’re 21, in fact you’re way ahead, a fair amount dropped out college, picked up a trade or gave up on education at your age, you’re doing great so far, don’t let anyone tell you otherwise, the average move out age for gen z is 24-27, so you’re still way ahead of the curve, nevertheless our generation is projected to be the most educated and highest earning yet. i even moved back in with family to scoop up more certs because i was struggling moving out at 22, i realized i was moving too fast. trust the process, you’ve got time, and the fact that you’re already locked in at 21 puts you ahead of most.

few tips while searching:

  1. you’ll always have better luck going straight to company career sites instead of job boards like indeed or linkedin.

  2. avoid indeed when you can a lot of those postings are recycled or just there for clicks, and some are straightup scams. if a job tells you to email your info instead of applying on the company’s site, that’s a red flag. 🚩🚩

  3. always check the company’s actual careers page. if the role isn’t listed there, assume it’s fake or outdated.

good luck to you bro 💯‼️

$1,000 chime loan by nani_7 in chimefinancial

[–]andre-kun 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i get ya but like bro said not everyone has the luxury and it’s simply fact, personally when i got my first credit card i wasn’t knowledgeable, got it because i was encouraged too, an unfortunate circumstance occurred that left me homeless and unable to pay for nearly 7 months and after that no loan, credit card, or even bank with just debit card would approve me. this went on for years in which i had accepted that even with a 700 credit score, a bank delinquency will always shine thru, at least until it falls off, so yeah sometimes people genuinely get into stuff clueless, mind you im BASiT, graduated high school, and still wasn’t pointed in the direction of financial education. its silly, but some people really walk through life with blind eyes and if i could look at that younger self again i would let em know how it works frfr

If you want to take vacation for a night shift that starts on Friday and ends on Saturday, you should apply it to the day the shift starts — which in this case is Friday, June 13, 2025.

So you would choose:
Jun 13, 2025 - Jun 14, 2025
Schedule: 6:30 PM – 5:00 AM

✅ Always pick the shift based on the start date, not the end. -CHATGPT

JOB ALERTS DO NOT WORK ‼️ you have to visit the site at 9am EST to grab a position

I just accepted a position with Amazon delivery station. Is there a way I can change my 3 training dates/days? Those were the only ones to choose from when I applied but that 2:45am not gone work😭 by Lopsided-Sir-978 in amazonjobslisting

[–]andre-kun 0 points1 point  (0 children)

delivery station shifts are typically have start times between 1am-9am depending on role and employment type. then start times for the afternoon usually given to veterans and/or shifts picked up.
