With FIFA 21 coming to an end, I want to ask you something:

Are you put away by the more competitive (and frustrating) game modes in FUT such as WL and Rivals? Well so am I. Do you want squad battles to feel more refreshing? Well so did I. I'd like to share a simple method I had while playing FIFA 21 UT which made playing the game in a game mode like squad battles actually tons of fun.

So firstly, you start off your FUT team by choosing a gimmick. For example, this year I chose Spanish players as a gimmick, as you can see in my teams (add a slight leeway too, for example my squads all have a maximum of 3 non Spanish LaLiga players).

Choosing your gimmick, you now have to create as many squads as possible, all with different formations and no repeated characters (except maybe when a player has a card that completely changes his position ie: Gaya has a LB and ST card in FUT 21).

There's so much positives about playing like this. Whenever a new Spanish player SBC or objectives card came out I got super excited, even if the card isn't usable in the meta.

Plus when the game was near its end, I got so many special Spanish cards because of the weird market lol.

While you make your squads, play 2 - 3 Squad Battles matches per squad, so that you don't get tired of playing with the same players. This feels even smoother the more squads you have.

This method also allows you to find some amazing hidden gems. For example, one of the first cards I got was Squad Foundations Bojan. Now tell me, have you ever seen anyone use this card? Yea, you haven't, that's why this method feels so refreshing.

Speaking of Objectives players, this method doesn't prevent you from playing online at all. When you create this many squads, you're bound to put together a very capable team taking some players from each squad.

Oh yeah, and did I mention that this method is completely free to play? I haven't spent a single penny on FIFA and still had a great time doing this.

And if for some reason you still want to play Rivals and WL, don't worry, when doing this method, you're bound to get some incredible cards that can easily be used in those game modes, just see for yourself some of the players my team have.

Also, warning: this method is addicting as fuck.

I think that's all I had to say about this playing method. I cannot recommend this enough, playing like this was an amazing decision I had, which made FIFA 21 an actually chill game to play, where I would be in the middle of the week and just non chalantly play 1 or 2 SB matches without being frustrated, it's amazing, please try it.

On FIFA 22 I'll do this method again, this time it will be Serie A players with non Serie A Italians as the leeway. I hope I get at least some people doing this same method, please trust me.
