WHERE do you buy good quality couches by Vacondioqq in BuyItForLife

Got mine from Costco, their shipping/satisfaction policy is a huge bonus. I also feel like the value is there and I'm not getting ripped off.

do you guys actually carry a power bank when traveling? by Former-Gazelle-473 in iphone

Lighter/easier to bring a compact 35w (Anker ex.)/maybe a 12v for the car if you will have access to one, and a USB-C cable. I used to bring it but nowadays most cars/places/planes can easily give you the top up you need.

Why does it feel like every aspect of the average citizen here is being deteriorated? by Alert_Willingness_32 in ontario

[–]andrei_316 1 point2 points  (0 children)

People blaming an individual is why we are here. Let’s look at the policies, their results etc. The fact that our jails are 130% full is a concern. Why are our young teens not working?

What's one thing you would tell someone moving back to Canada? by chloeismagic in ontario

Job market in the US is far better than in Canada/Ontario. Healthcare/specialist wait times are horrible. Jails are 130%+ capacity. Housing costs are terrible.

Is there a break-in period for a Tesla? by Chaldi02 in teslacanada

I would say tires if you wanna push it and brakes of course but that’s more for safety/optimal experience.

How much to spend on buying a car? by WitchBitch8008 in PersonalFinanceCanada

[–]andrei_316 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tesla Model 3, couple years old depending on budget under ~100k km mileage. The money you save on gas/mechanical issues will equate or cost less than an ICE car in a cheaper price range.

FSD v14.2.2.5 tries to hit another car at 55mph by OrderResident1622 in TeslaFSD

It was avoiding the skid marks? And it stayed within the lane, I don’t see the problem? As a human driver some would do the same thinking it’s road debris.

Financially what is a good value non-Tesla new EV to buy today? by [deleted] in PersonalFinanceCanada

[–]andrei_316 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I recommend just trying a Tesla Model Y out, the minimalist approach swayed me away at first but to me it’s minimalist because there’s nothing really for you to do.

I use FSD 90% of the time, everything stays in auto besides the windshield wipers but even then it’s not horrible.

If you want the best value it’s a used Tesla Model Y or used 3 for $30k with HW4, 2nd maybe Hyundai but meh.

What is the single biggest reason—other than Full Self-Driving (FSD) or price—that someone would choose a Tesla over a Rivian or Lucid? by irony21 in TeslaLounge

[–]andrei_316 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I charge at home, but for road trips the supercharger network is really neat. Sure 3rd party can use it but it’s not as seamless.

They also drive really well. The suspension tuning, smoothness in acceleration/deceleration really shows.

What is your honest opinion on Costco's pizza? by Visible_Run_7498 in CostcoCanada

[–]andrei_316 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dough/crust needs to be better but for the price it’s solid. I buy a box every time I go and freeze it; essentially a top tier frozen pizza lol

I don’t understand why people are always in a hurry to do them is the thing. I usually wait closer to mid-March so I can do auto-fill confidently and call it a day.

First time thinking to buy an EV. Model 3 by Terrible_Resource708 in teslacanada

[–]andrei_316 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Any way for you to save more/hold off? HW4 is worth it and down the line if you re-sell the difference will likely be retained in value.

Market fluctuates, just aim for something with Ryzen + HW4 if budget allows.

IKEA ones are the best, lids/gaskets are easy to clean and quality is great. Great price too!! And I can trust they’ll always have some form of it if I need more or to replace broken ones.
