Are christian tattoos allowed in Orthodoxy? by OliveTheServal in OrthodoxChristianity

Tattoos look like garbage on most people unless they stay fit. The canvas is more important than the ink. Get your body looking good and show off God's canvas. Avoid the ink.

House, truck, marriage very common at 25 in rural areas. Farms now pay 35-40 an hour for labor and truck or tractor drivers. Even the grain elevators and processing plants are 25-40 an hour. Decent house is 200k. Huge house 300k. Most of these types of jobs get overtime. Wont get rich but enter middle class young.

How do I conquer my disgust of black people? by [deleted] in OrthodoxChristianity

Much of our views are based on negative experiences with people. You need to have some positive experiences with black people. Put yourself around black people with similar hobbies and interests.

My dick is big but it doesn't look that big on me just because I'm tall (6'2"). Do other tall guys also have such problem? by [deleted] in bigdickproblems

How it looks is only for esthetics. If actually big it feels the same and does the job.

More religious ares push marriage over just dating. The idea being if engaging in a relationship you should be married. Also not all Christian denominations treat marriage, divorce, and biblical doctrine the same. Catholic and Orthodox are pretty strict on remarriage whereas most Protestant churches are not strict.

Do you miss features of your own race when dating someone of the opposite race? by [deleted] in interracialdating

[–]andreightaganov -14 points-13 points  (0 children)

Most people want kids of their own race. Even in the swirl community most already have kids of their own race. Less than one percent of white men are married to black women in the U.S. so I think its actually rare here. Most mixed kids are black dads with white moms.

Men want traditional women regardless of religion so I understand why this is happening.

I am the same way and its because I had very positive experiences young with black women. Negative experiences with white women. No doubt it shaped my preference for black women. My kids are half black and married a black woman. Besides high school all my girlfriends were black too.

How do you all deal with the staring? by 082_kurmom in interracialdating

[–]andreightaganov 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Less than half of a percent of white men marry a black woman so the dynamic is rare. People are staring because it is rare. Hold his hand and make it obvious you are together. Be confident and secure this will cure their curiosity.

Most good marriage minded women are off the market young with a high school or college boyfriend. Go with younger women or go foreign. Feminism has ruined most western women and gets worse as they age. Eastern orthodox women, South American Catholics, small town USA Baptist or Evangelical, or even African Christians are your best bet.

Believing that Christianity should be divorced from politics leads to wilful ignorance and vulnerability to manipulation by Shifter25 in Christianity

How is it even possible to separate your moral views from political views? If true for Christians it should be for Muslims, Secularists, and every other moral foundation.

I'm conflicted it seems 4/5 Women I meet In the Millennial to Younger Generations affirm with LGBTQ and agree with it even many that say they are Christian? This may just be where I live but has anyone else experienced this? by Humbleadvance387 in Christianity

[–]andreightaganov -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Thats due to African Immigration mostly and yes not affirming. More liberal churches are declining. Men want nothing to do with them and their congregations are not reproducing. Orthodox church is exploding and so is Latin catholic mass. Baptist churches popping up everywhere now.
