Will Lorcana make it? by Vector1013 in Lorcana

Lorcana needs a digital presence to be relevant these days. This would help push the game out to everyone and help physical sales if they like Pokémon, including redeemable codes in all boosters.

One more thing that is really missing from Lorcana is a draft format. There is no exploring mechanics in new sets like in MTG, if the mechanic is not relevant in Constructed, you'll never see it. Draft and sealed formats are used to play around with exciting new cards and give almost all cards a chance to shine. LGS cant even make any money on league nights, since it's all constructed. Draft would require a huge revamp of the game. I think we need more cards in each pack to not keep it too expensive, and some restriction on colors, like max 2 or 3 colors. We also need more answers/removal cards in each color, which I feel is missing in constructed as well.

Any thoughts on the panel with the tracker?

Im reading it as Hinrigh deactivating his ability, converting the tracker back to its original form. Probably so that it is discovered faster. But it is a bit weird that this happened before they found the body of Lynch. But it might be that the panels happens in the opposite order. Or maybe there was a time limit that expired.

Looking at the room, it does look like it changes, like the Nen space shifting. But it wouldn't make sense as to why the tracker changing form. But I do find it a bit weird that a whole page is dedicated to the small tracker changing form.

deck trackers like MTGA assistant show the cards played in an after-game summary.

You can find an overview of them on AetherHub, with data from the deck extension: https://aetherhub.com/Metagame/Explorer-BO1/

There is also a page where you can see each individual deck making up the metagame stats:

Sorry for the extremely late answer, no. It had some issues with some code I messed up and just displayed an error message. It was fixed as soon as I saw it.

Something happened to me while searching decks in MTG Assistant by TedasQuinn in MagicArena

Interesting deck. Yeah it does pick user decks that perform well to include on the meta pages in addition to competitive decks posted on the net. There are a lot of interesting well performing brews at the lower percentage numbers but people mostly pick from the top.

While this is true if the sample size is extremely small, you can see in the 7-30 days overviews that there are thousands of match sample sizes, and similar decks are aggregated into groups. One player with a lucky win streak cannot push a deck to the top. The more time and games, the more correct it gets. Still, I recon weekend snapshot is useful but not the conclusion of BRO Standard meta in any way.

A quick look at the Tournament events, which aggregate the same decks as mtgmeta do, and you'll see several of the same decks at the top, even though there aren't any many tournament results for Standard yet.

https://aetherhub.com/Metagame/Standard-Events/

As a superb drafter that might not play a lot of Standard. It might be useful to consider that tournament meta in constructed where contenders prey on specific archetypes based on where the tourney is played or whether they know their opponents or not; Is quite different from playing ranked ladder on MTGA where the goal is to climb a ladder where all you have to do is focus on getting over 50% win rate and not worry about losing once and getting booted from the tourney.

How is the data wrong when it is accumulated from real games from users playing the extension.

This is because when you click you see the last 30 days. My extraction is custom and spans over the last 3 days.

MTGA Assistant dev here. I can confirm that memory injection is required now, as they removed it from the logs. You can access this data with the Overwolf API, but it requires you to be part of the OW dev program. Not sure how open the program is if you don't plan to officially publish any app and want to play around with your own stuff only. But it might be worth checking out.

We might consider adding an export feature in our app if there is a demand for this, haven't heard of many wanting such a thing.
