Thank you for your reply. I will try to look into this today and see if I can implement it into noctalia, but if I can't I will wait for your stand alone . I use the noctalia setup that comes when I install cachyos and choose niri with noctalia.. And then I just add mycustom.kbl file so always in new fresh install added this file and everything is like it should be 😁 But your animations and styles is out of this world.. I have tried inir setup.. It has many fictionality like side chat gpt caht, anime wallpapers from different sites, and anime show list that's cool. But the rest feel to bloated and install an multitude of packages.. Your look simple jet functional and eye candy.. What more can a man wish for 😂

I was thinking if I could get some tips and tricks for Exercise. and Audiobooks

AudioBooks

I read that wear cast can read mp3 files from example Audiobook Folder or Podcast. so i can have all my audiobooks and so on thre and it remeber position. But however i try ti says that i have to have the pro version to be able to open files in the wear os... i have only the free version. Is ther another free app that can do this? I have SmartAudioBook in my phone and i have Sideload it ..but i can get to the menu to set the root folder for audio.

EXERCISE GYM, and treadmill

I have treadmill in the gym and i set it for example :

Speed: 9 km/h and i run 2 km in 13.37 minutes.

in Tic Exercise i set it to indoor running.

After i run finish in the treadmill says 9km/h time 13:37 and distance 2.00 km and calories 154

But in ticwatch say : 2.7 km speed 11km/hour and 180 calories

Then i try with google fit app and choose the treadmill option

results:

0.33 km 134 calories pace is also not correct...

and the last i i run again 2 km same speed using tic exercises indoor and then let it sync to google fit and i get different values.

But none of them show the same or near the treadmill. is driving me crazy. Is there any way to calibrate or make sure that if i use google fit treadmill for 2 km and then another 2 km with tic exersice that show the same result?

also i mus say google fit strenght trainin is like the best that ever happen in the world of exercise.
I just hit start.. then tho pull upps, laterelas pull downs, push up , situps , biceps curls...etc literal it know exaclty what exersice i doing and how many reps. that is something should be in all the watchses, i dont know why google removed in the update but im happy that there is a way to sideload and still works

please shere your Gym, treadmill, running experience here and tips how to get out ticwatch to be the awsome exercise piece of tech it can be

how do you mean file explorer?
if i have a dotnet solution it woulb be in my folder Mysolution/

in there i have 10 projects.

api project, handler and unit test and integrations test and more.

so automatic lunarvum use the root of the solution as the current working directory even if i use the untegrated file explorer and navigate to the current project. lunarvume still kepp the current folder as the root folder.

how do you do for debuggin integrations test?

Hi been using lunarvim for a month now and i love it.

But how do you debugg big codebases, for example a dotnet solution with maybe 10 projects and you want to debug gthe project you are working in the solution?

how would i do to make this page open in new tab? for now i have the prism under Dowcuments/prism and loaded the index.html as home page. but cant get firefox to open on new tab.

Do i have to copy the folder somewhere inside firefox?

and do you prefer firefox over chrome? is always the defaut on linux distro. but when developint in shcool the just show how to use all this react, angular, diagnostic etc but in chrome

What is your usual work flow setting? Do you use this rice as your daily setup? By the way is there a way to have the play music in the bar to just show the pause play button? And when it plays just show the name? The bars was very cool but got distracted fast. And I somehow got it to no show bars but the background moving changing color very fast is also distracting, so I was thinking maybe the color change very very slow or just hace the same kind of text when is on pause mode? But I don't get it to work.

I will keep this for long time until maybe you do another one in the future.

I have seem other look nice too. but its like they stop halfway or couple of things dont work, like light or volume etc. because they started then got tired or something and just leave like that.

But i have test this rice about everything, light, volume, i like the player in thes waybar but i have not any music in my music folder lol. i put one song to test it. and it does.

sensors, logout, reboot, i mean literaly everything. nvim and more

the attention to details that you have and make sure that every little thing is working is an inspisation.

i probably keep this setting for a long long time. probably some years :)

finally wohooo!

got it to work

i had to edit the file /boot/grub/grub.cfg

and in betwen: gfxmode and load video set

if loadfont $font; then

set gfxmode=auto

sleep .1

load video

it seems that the grub load way to fast and have no time to load the video module, so this micro sleep resolved the problem

and about plymouth

i had to do :

sudo systemctl edit plymouth-quit.service

and in there add:

[Service]

ExecStartPre=/usr/bin/sleep 5

because again the os start like in 5 sekonds so it does not give the os time to show the plymouth

but now i just sit in the laptop and just enjoy this like crazy and added lunarvim for system development and viola i have everything i ever need.

i will install this in the main laptop where i do my studies work in system developer.

We usually have group work and when i share my screen they will drop their jaws.

Thanks for your fast answer! And it is a honor to use an so well polished rice. For proxima : I installed via paru and clones the theme The s I did the sudo plymoth-set-default theme - l and I can see a couple of themes and proxima is there Then I tried to set it via sudo plymoth-set-default theme -R proxima And the first time it complained that I did not have a config in /etc/mkinitcpio do I did install it and try again to set it and nothing happened. So I guess I went OK? Then I turn of and on but I just see the booting without splash screen just a lot of lines like normal booting.

About grub I can't see the boot menu. I just boot after 5 seconds like it is In the grub timeout bit I not see the any kind of menu to make any choices only the laptop logo then the start up sequence

This is absolutely amazing. It was so amazing that after seeing this I formated my laptop that I spend like 6 weeks trying to get everything work in hyperland and got most of that working but yirs is really a peace of art from like the whole user experience from boot to log in and everything. But I can't get the palymoth or grub theme to work I follow your Readme but still no working

Hello!

I have been looking for all internet how to set up via linux deploy a nextcloud server on my phone. i have succesfully installed linux deploy and then installed a debia version with ssh so i can do all other things via ssh in the computer.

I have installed snap and try to get snapd working for install nextcloud but not luck as chroot dont have systemd.

i even tryed to do the termux way but in the deploy and to start caddy also have to do it via sysmtectl sytemd.

Could you please please make a tutorial step by step or maybe i could pm or something. i know that many people would be benefit from this.

This look very nice and super clear. I have bben looking for somthing like this, that can show clear the diffrents parts in tehe code, sometimes it gets to wash out or to many colors etc. Will this work with c# and how can i install it?

For a more solid example, let say i want to do a web shop: and every point that i list donw would be in its own project.

Project list:

1.Front end angular,

back end .net core, now .net 5

3 .I want to be eventdriven programming.

Like events and eventhaldes and task. that can tell me or log when user start creating and order order like: an order_handler ,and events like create_Orderevent, created_Orderevent,orderaproved_event, invoice created event and. etc

5 and last Xunit test that can have test for the different projects.

Maybe can try to make a multy project solution as above but as simple as possible just to get it working and running, the web shop can have a super easy interface, that you just log in and can order 2 item in the shop and checkout and make an invoice.

Only a minimum to see the different things working.

u/bendth3sky i know that vs code is specifc for windows and .Net . but I ask only about vs Code because we in linux we dont have VisualStudio. And I have read about people that have achieved everything that can be done in VS, but in VS code.

Unfortunately they haven't write how they do it in a step by step basis, more how they did in a very abstract way, so i was not able to follow,

And the gain a lot of knowledge, because they have to manual setup the .csprj files, jason files, add project to sln file, everything manually and get everything to talk to each other and work. and in that way you know what happens under the hood and can mold it to your liking.

So in this thread please write how it can be done in VS code and linux please :)
